You're being opaque again.

Guest Editor of the Trivial Thread?

It's an unpaid and thankless task but someone's got to do it.

I will give it my best effort Dicky, might get a bit messy at times though, mainly after 6pm.

I've got a garden that needs tidying/lawn mowed, a Rover still waiting for an oil change and some painting needs doing if its of any interest, might keep you occupied for a day!!! Or you could just relax and enjoy your time off which is probably the better option!! yes

The Tesla Model X I went out in last weekend made very little noise. So little, in fact, that I wondered what the attraction could be. It has slowly dawned on me that the noise is what I wanted to hear as it was the noise of cars I hankered after when ar were a lad. Really fast cars now make no noise and that is what young lads of today will have at the top of their desirability list. 0 - 60 in 3 seconds with no noise. It's the future.

Not for me, though. I will still want a car to sound like it's trying.

Absolutely agree old chap, a car should sound like an angry thing when provoked and purr when just cruising!!! In Winchester today visiting MIL followed by dinner with friends tonight!!

I'll just make clear the business with me not able to see stuff.

Due to a phone and or browser fault,I cannot quote, report, edit or delete as all the icons in the top right have gone missing for me.
Also the smileys at the top are invisible but I can click on them.
I think Jim clicked the red 18 by mistake.

When the phone stops me posting altogether,I'm really in trouble.....frownbiggrintongue outcoolconfusedfuriouseeksmile

No sightings of that robot thing around the Towers then?

I was chatting to 'Mad' Mick McBreaker in the B&L earlier. It occurred to me that if we did manage to immobilise the Tin Twerp we could take it to Mick's scrapyard and get the bugger weighed in?

I find the bot tedious.

Is there any scrap value in it ?..... Innit .

I'll give Danny Dyer a call,he'll sort it out.

That could be quite interesting. The bot might start channelling Danny and start calling us all muggy s with a swear word thrown in every other third word instead of the full stop we currently get hehe

Reference the robot thingy, surely Bomma has something to give it pause for thought stashed in the arsenal??
ION you know your wife/partner/gay lover/significant other * delete as appropriate loves you when you already have 15 bottles of whisky but still buys you a bottle of your absolute favourite which you happen to spot while out shopping, and which is quite difficult to find!!!! smile

I've given it a fair bit of thought in case push comes to shove.
Does anyone happen to know if this robot emanates significant amounts of heat? if it does it's feasible it could be taken down with a Sidewinder.
Failing that, I can't see we'd go too far wrong with a couple of hundred rounds from the Browning.

Anyhow, watch that whisky business Bobbers, I've fallen foul of that little ruse (albeit with Absinthe).

Whilst somewhat 'tired and emotionally confused' I apparently sanctioned the purchase of a new kitchen.

Around 700 bottles in round figures. I try not to think about it much these days.
