Copper Slip?
Is that the pedestrian equivalent of a stinger for a policeman pursuing on foot?

Or did you mean Copaslip?

Dicky that is a beautiful and moving poem, very apt for the situation we find ourselves in at present! frown

You see, this is where we differ. I took the opportunity for forty winks and now you've woken me up.

I'm not Man Down, I was having a little snooze. Now I'm on my way to have a small restorative.

Did he not also produce a general cure all? If I recall correctly the tincture claimed to be for, "Coughs, Colds, Scrubby Holes and Pimples on the Belly."

I'd have quite happily stayed down all night, unfortunately I was getting cramp in my leg. It's certainly a lot warmer under the table than being in the hangar.

Anyhow, who was it carrying the shooter? One of the Yeats lot?

Yes it’s the Yeats Crew, there’s a shoot out with the Burns Massive. Apparently it’s a turf war.
I thought Bomma had been hit by a 25 pound ryegrass bag there for a minute. There’s clumps flying everywhere.

On another note, I’m feeling light headed. There’s a poster on the politics thread who doesn’t believe in punctuation or short sentences and as a result reading his posts without breathing in is an ordeal.
I think his sentence structure is being used as a covert weapon.

Still trouble at t'mill. Laid off 'temporarily' from my job driving for the garage as the guvnor waits for funding, I popped in on Saturday morning bearing bacon sarnies. It wasn't enough for a reprieve. I knew really and have been pursuing other driving jobs and also getting back into contract CAD work. This kind of things awaits the eager CAD job hunter:

An opportunity has arisen to work as a CAD Technician for one of our large and reputable client’s.. . blah, blah, blah... unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Hold up, I haven't applied yet. You and your rogue apostrophe. Ooh, hang on! What's this?

In the meantime please keep an eye on (url removed) for any other potential vacancies.

Oh, good. I'll go and look at the URL Removed website, shall I?
