Just to add to today's negativity,I rang a mate, only mate, not spoken since May,after we were at the Ring and got the low down about the mutual acquaintance that got killed that weekend.
Not going any further with that......frown

Very sad set of circumstances.

For some reason,I must have lost my mind ,I looked at Shmee 150's video of last Saturday at Goodwood and unfortunately I think I have an unwanted walk on part.

Can I claim royalties ?

Of course you Can, first you go off to drama school for 3years and get an acting degree, you apply for an equity card, you get yourself a manager who will take a large chunk of your fee, you track down the person who shot the video and present your fee request, simple really!!! smile

Several million brownie points earned chez gog this weekend.
My mrs went off to liverpool for a couple of days with some friends, whilst she was away I decorated the kitchen, despite the fact I bloody hate painting.
She was pleased.

And today I took gog junior to Diggerland today, driving assorted diggers around a muddy field is bloody good fun. And goglet enjoyed herself too. Skid steer diggers in deep mud are hilariously uncontrollable
Thanks Gog youvec juat sorted my ‘what do I do with my nephews next week’ quandary! Very good value too by the looks of it.

Wouldn’t a Masters Defree in sleuthing be quicker?? I mean 5 years and then say a couple of months sitting in a ditch waiting for the victim, locate his lair and break in demading a lump sum or delete the video - got to be simpler shirley.

Busy day today, some important business to attend to.

The Paw Patrol team are making an appearance at a local shopping centre, Grandbomma has a VIP pass to meet her favourite character, Marshall.

I'll get my best bib and tucker on in case there are any photo opportunities. Never know what these events might lead to...

Waddling about town yesterday I happened upon a pub I've been meaning to try since I came to Newbury in the 90s. It's a bit rough but, y'know, it has character. As I approached I saw all the windows were crossed with yellow tape reading, 'POLICE - CRIME SCENE - DO NOT CROSS' so I didn't go in. It wasn't until I was enjoying a beer at home watching seasonal ads on the telly that I realised I might have been put off by the pub's Halloween decorations.

I've looked with some ex HMS Ark Royal night vision binoculars and cant see a damn thing. I'll do the afternoon shift and let you know if there's anything suspicious. So far only a tug.

I'm up that London networking, as we are supposed to call it now, or going down the pub with colleagues of old, as we used to call it. Down the pub being the more accurate description. Anyway, the reason I called, I'm here first and I'm sitting with a pint next to an open fire, near to an open door. October: open fire. Warm day: open door. It's the weather that makes us the people we are.

I don't have any custard if you were looking to test my pronouncements.
