To be fair, we've always relied on Jim's judgement in nautical matters so if it's a no - go then I guess that's that.

Council lot are still sitting it out - 10,033 at the last count.

In other booze news.....

On Saturday at nephew's wedding ,his brother overdid it a little and went to have a kip in his car parked in the pub car park.

He re-appeared at about 12.45am looking quite broken......drinkdrinkdrinkdrinkblahsleepdrunkbiglaugh

Well not really old chap - a lot of them reside in properties ranging from one bedroom flats to seven bedroom houses.

I think their main beef will be a possible rent increase brought about by the improved facilities in a new Volume.

My apologies Coop. Mind, it's still not really a 'custody here we come' type average.

Skip the beer / lager / cider and make inroads on the Absinthe.

It was for us. It was intended as the new roof for the Observatory. Bit of a drop off. The units weren't included on the drawings. We were thinking inches but the dome makers were thinking centimetres. Ah, well, back to the drawing board. It's not a complete waste though as Mrs B asked for first dibs on it for the bus shelter. You know the one? Currently round and thatched at the crossroads of Love Lane and Abattoir Alley. Preservation Order and all that old nonsense but she's sure the planners will see sense when they grasp the magnificence of her vision.

We really must get to grips with units of measurement. And measurement itself, of course. Having to jump the last bit on and off the drawbridge is getting really tiresome.

I now find myself in Somerset having been to Norfolk and Kent earlier so catching up on the ribald frolicks here.

Scimitar's mentioned - good idea and very good value. As it happens I'm rebuilding a scim overdrive box at the mo for use in the Missile.
Cooped - 28 pints is top notch mate and smashes my record in a day by a pint although I can't claim to have kept any of the last 10 down for more than 30 seconds and it was a good job the floor was covered with polythene.
The Boat - errmmm....
...erm.....
hmmmm....fk me Dickys lost it.
