Bad planning, Bobberoo. Caking Bad. The fruit was measured on Sunday and had been stewing in Brandy so all I had to do was make the cakey part. Starting at 6.30 with measuring the flour, butter, sugar et al the cake finally went onto the oven at 7.45. For four and a half hours.

Nightmare. Second one today.

Trivial Tuesday it is. I'll put a bit of bunting up across the hangar to mark the occasion.

I'll see your elephants can't jump and raise you a bunting was originally a specific type of lightweight worsted wool fabric generically known as tammy, manufactured from the turn of the 17th century, and used for making ribbons and flags, including signal flags for the Royal Navy.

Oh. The bunting we've got came from Fat Harry's car lot, it was retrieved when he got rid of the caravan and replaced it with the Portakabin.

It's a good length, probably around 80 feet. It used to hang between the lamp post outside and the Sky dish on top of the caravan.

Oh ok then, has any one fallen in the moat yet? It was a close call for me, only realised as I use the portcullis as a reference point when I make the leap over the gap where the drawbridge is too short, noticed I couldn't actually see the portcullis, which led to the conclusion that the drawbridge must be up, that or someone had stolen the portcullis!!!!

Be mindful that Battert's out on the motor launch today too, it's possible he may have raised the drawbridge.

He was moaning about 'bloody otters' earlier. He's taken Penrose with him, so at least I'll get a bit of peace & quiet for a couple of hours.

Ah good show, does that mean you'll finally get round to finishing off the merlin lawnmower build? Been waiting for a try of that for a while now!!!

I'm afraid the Supermarine - Qualcast's on the back burner at the moment old chap, least of all since Penrose ate the supercharger drive belt. We're planning to have it serviceable for the first cut of 2018, should certainly be a sight to behold.

Talking of things horticultural, are we having the Norwegian Spruce up again for the festivities?

Funny you mentioned your proposed name change earlier, I was going to ask if that was still on the cards..... Obviously not.

The Range Rover cretin isn't talking about a Real Range Rover, but a Discovery in a dress!

Also sorry to see my RPG into the Dead cyclist thread failed to derail the 3 or 4 willy waving wkers who are going around in an ever decreasing circle now.

Rather surprised none of them has claimed their Dad is bigger than the others yet!!

ION: The Gas people have dug up the top of our lane & stuck in 3 way lights. 15 minutes to get off the main road & down to Jim AK Acres earlier. furiousfurious
