We used to hide rude bits on working drawings when if viewed from a distance or at an angle were willies or boobs. The best was the curly insulation which if shaped right and done in 0.5 when the rest of the drawing was in 0.25 and 0.18 stands out like a sore err thumb. Oh what fun. sniggering when a drawing was unfolded in a site meeting.

If some of the Thames Valley Post Offices and the COD at Bicester look like dicks I must apologise. A few USAF hangar doors also suffered there was a draught proofing extrusion that was shaped like a gift for innuendo drafting

It wasn't me who saw the Darth Homepride man thing but I do agree with GOG who was the one who brought it up.

Home now,I was never going to stay to the end today, during SS6 a Subaru binned it ,stage stopped, ambiwlans on duty,so I called it a day,car park was a quagmire.

All good here.

Where was the rally Peri? I've always wanted to go and see a stage, just never got around to it!
Sorry GOG, I didn't realise it was your post, in my defence getting up at 5 this morning was hard work!!!

Rally at Brands Hatch.

It's a round of the "circuit series" so it's less exciting than a forest event but it's better than staying home, even on a wet day in January.

There's a small rally at Goodwood February 10th I think, not much use if you're on the overtime again.

There used to be the Sunseeker rally in Ringwood Bouremouth area, don't think it runs anymore.

This far from standard Escort beast was leading when I left for home.
2.5 litre engine,flat shift sequential gearbox.......lush.

It's a sculpture called "It's good to be bad" by Doug Hyde, it's his main character, child/man dressed as Darth Vader, He's done a series called "Master of disguise" featuring this, Catman and Robin Superman and Spider-Man. It's a numbered limited run of 395 and ours is 353. We have six of his prints and four sculptures,

Some of the others we have, they make us smile and to be fair they're already going up in value. smile

I knew about the Sunseeker but never went, 10th of February I won't be working as we're out on the 9th, are you going and do you know how much it costs? And yes that Escort is tasty, they use a Millington engine I think don't they?

In other news we went to look at another retired Greyhound today, in a massive shortcutting of the normal process he is sat at my feet now biggrin.
It does help if you keep in touch with the greyhound trust and help out so we didnt need a homecheck or anything similar

I believe he is now, met him at a showing around 5years ago, really nice down to earth likes a pint and a chat type of guy, he did a dedication on one of our prints and when we bought another we had a signed note from him.

Possibly ,it always comes down to getting up in time and/ or the weather.

Weather today was marginal ,luckily it never chucked it down and early morning it was just drizzle ,so I went out.

I had the wagons in a circle and got shot at from my own side. Thats all I know. Then the Indian mega chiefs weighed in and shot the Indians anyway.
All very confusing.

Be so much easier if I still had my Bowie knife and those Clarkes shoes with all the animal footprints on that looked like there had been a bizarre stampede when you had walked through mud. But none of that’s important right now.

It was more stating a view and defending it, it wasn’t trolling. Well, not initially anyway!

The PH posters who refuse to debate but insist on restating their views ever more forcefully deserve to have the mick taken. The watch thread has quite a few of 'em. Life has them. They're everywhere. Batten down the hatches, bigots about.
