I once had a vindaloo in a place on Sauchiehall Street, the chicken was deep fried in batter. By God it was hot, far hotter than anything I've had south of the border.

Couple that with a few pints of McEwans 90 Shilling and it's little wonder why there's a high proportion of Scotsmen in the SAS if that's what they're eating and drinking.
The buggers must be born armour plated.

thought McEwans Lager did that, and a Scottish Vindaloo! biggrin
No, that's for pebbledashing the porcelain. biggrin

I used to love the haggis suppers from the chippy after an evening on the heavy up in Prestwick.
Naturally, the haggis was deep fried in batter. smile

Are the perimeter fences still safe DC,are the dogs still on guard? where is the tea room these days?

Spot lights still intact?
Are they? For pity's sake, man, we left you in charge! Are you saying our vulnerables have been vulnerable since last we spoke?

Sawn off shotgun?
That would have been your Mum's, DC.

To clear the pavements in front of her mobility scooter on her trips to Waitrose.
I fear you may be right. In another uncharted quarter of the garage I found a great slab of Polypenco-Nylatron. No detonators luckily. Gawd knows what they were cooking up. Salcombe's answer to Bonny and Clyde with a mobility scooter getaway car.

So let me get this straight Dicky, whilst cleaning out your parents garage you found a shotgun? You didn't perchance find a balaclava and a nondescript hold all too did you??? smile
It's really strange. Neither my bro nor I have any idea why it's there. There's no maker's name we can find, it's corroded inside and out and worth nothing. But if someone was waving it in your face making outlandish demands your first thoughts would probably not be its condition or efficacy. We didn't mention it to mum but took it to the Police station to hand it in but you have to do a little dance, sing a little song make an appointment. I'll cart it round until I see a functioning Police station.

So then Mr Dicky, can you explain how you came to be in possession of the weapon???
Well officer Dibble it's like this............
I'm sure it'll be fine, I mean why on earth would they pull over a car transporter with a dodgy looking car attached to it, that's using two cycle lights for rear lights and being driven by a mildly Arthur Daley looking individual, what could possibly go wrong!?!?!? rofl

'Tis far better to be a bit gruntled than completely disgruntled. ( Just IMHO )

What's up young fella?
