Glad to hear the sex change was a success Dicky, or should we start calling you Rachael? Oh, hang on, that's not the "lumps" you're referring to is it?!?!? smile
Have they said if there's to be any follow up, biopsy results or such?

Well, that's most of my business sorted for now. Long story short, although it won't register on the Trivometer, Mum passed away on Sunday and Dad followed her a day later. Not totally unexpected as they were both in their 90's but still a bit of a wrench when it happens. Anyhow, onwards and upwards.

I see it's Easter in a week or so, I'll need to get something for Grandbomma. She's not really a big fan of chocolate so not much point in buying traditional Easer eggs. I did wonder about a lettuce, not sure how well that'd be received though.
I might get another Hatchimal thing, I'll give it some thought.
So sorry to hear about your parents Bomma, it must have been a shock to lose them both so quickly! Remember that we're all here for whatever you need!

Worrying thing that NHS business Dicky. I mean, if they don't know who you are, how do they know if they're carrying out the right procedure on the right person?

Go in with an ingrowing toenail and come out with your tonsils in a glass jar. Marvellous grumpy

Savernake Hospital won my business. Once upon a time it would have been called a Cottage Hospital. The lady doctor kept up a running commentary of what she was doing.

Doc: "A few dainty sutures."
Me: "I'm having that as my User Name."
Doc: "No, it's not computery. It's a Fairy Tale: The Dainty Sutures of Savernake Forest."

Get Walt Disney on the line.

Oops. Can you get a half decent one off Ebay in the right colour?

Based on my experience, have you considered buying a whole car suffering some terminal mechanical failure and breaking it? After salvaging the bits you need you could sell some bits and tow the smouldering ruins to the scrap man where he will be delighted to give you a hundred quid.

The car is pretty skanky; no keys, stuck in Drive and rusty. So it's trim and mechanical parts I need to recover from it. Here's how to get into the boot:

You leave your fine feelings behind and make a hole - in my case 'chain drill' a hole - to expose the boot catch release rod. Give the rod a twist and bingo, we're in. Now I know where to drill I'll treat myself to a tank cutter to make a neater hole that can be plugged with a flattish grommet. Even with this one, if anyone could be bothered, it could be patched and made good. Number plates conceal loads of gremlins I'm discovering. The central locking pump I was keen to plunder in the boot has sold already for £100.
I had no idea what a central locking pump was - so looked on eBay and got a shock at the prices!! You’ve got a lot of dosh in that wreck Dicky!

Good, innit?

The central locking is pneumatic and the folding roof is hydraulic. There's a world of engineering in the boot of an SLK.

Mercedes and Porsche were both considering folding roofs at the same time and got into bed by forming a separate folding roof engineering company to supply them both.

It's funny you should mention that Dicky, i did look at doing just that even went as far as sourcing a suitable car, only for it to end up going for far more than i was determined to pay!!!
Sadly Pushfit both the supplied wings are the correct colour, it was difficult to find the correct colour in the first place!!!

Have you tried breakeryard.com? They're a brokerage website; you put in your requirement and the breakers bid for your business. It's eBay in reverse. The prices keep coming down.
