Have you tried breakeryard.com? They're a brokerage website; you put in your requirement and the breakers bid for your business. It's eBay in reverse. The prices keep coming down.
No, thanks for the info Dicky, i used breakerlink for this attempt, i believe it was Bomma or Pushfit who told me about them, feeling a little dubious after the balls up of wrong side/damaged wings, nearly £60 out of pocket and fed up with the weather stopping me from cracking on and doing the work!! Mrs Bobbers suggested filling and spraying the existing wing for now just to tidy it up.

I'm in Poland.

And that's the truth.

And if it's not the truth, then it's a lie.

Is this your phone being wrong again or are you really in Poland on yet more Mercedes Benz business but telling us you're not to throw us off the scent, or are you really at home and just dazed and confused OR is your phone in Poland but you're not?!?!? confused

A fascinating street name in Marlborough. Not near Poland.

That really is a bizarre name for a road, mind you in Stubbington there's a Burnt House Lane, maybe we should start a strange road names thread to run along with your Hummer Unbeam thread!!!

I've got a feeling I started one - a not very successful one - yonks ago with Scratchface Lane. I'll go and have a look.

No I didn't, I dreamt that up. Several have been started though. Maybe the thread needs a catchy name to succeed.

Perhaps I put it in my On The Road thread which I was sure would see me proclaimed the rightful heir to Jack Kerouac.

It didn't.

I've just ordered a load of stuff to service/repair/fix/screw up/mutilate delete as appropriate, both cars, Mrs Bobbers has insisted I take next Wednesday and Thursday off and not to work Good Friday as I was going to, mainly because I lost my grip on reality slightly yesterday when that wing turned up damaged, she's insisted I take some time out to do the stuff I need/want to do.

Is it your turn on the night shift again chap? Good stuff, it's normally fairly quiet. The Brigadier sometimes gets up and has a wander around but apart from that not much happens at all.

One of my favourite street things is this one:

Yes, I'd forgotten about them. I generally leave them to it, they usually end up locking themselves in a room with a vaulting horse and I let them out again at first light. Odd bunch they are.

Anyhow, I was just making a bit of toast and the toaster's knocked the breaker off in the fuse box thing. I'll have a proper look at it, see if anything can be done without plunging the village into darkness.

Remember the last time you attempted "Electrickery stuff"? I still think your hair's got an unnatural curl and a piece of brazing rod is NOT a suitable substitute for fuse wire!!!!

The brazing rod piece was indeed woeful, the bugger melted after about half an hour grumpy

Mind, the hangar sockets have been working fine since I popped the M8 bolt in.

Yep that'll do the job, sterling stuff!!! Now then, we really need to do something about the amount of trolley parts scattered about the place, do we know if there are enough serviceable trolleys to fulfil the trolley run requirements? Or are we going to have to start producing Frankentrolleys again, mind you that 6x6 Meteor powered contraption certainly didn't seem bothered by the recent snow!!!!

Trolley parts? A lot of those bits are off the Sunderland and Lagonda, they both still seem to function alright though. Apart from the Lagonda not really having any brakes of course.

Anyhow, I've had the old AVO out and it seems I have an earth fault on the toaster. I think we paid about 12s/6d for it some years back so it's probably time to treat ourselves to a new one.

A brief search suggests I'm looking at anything between £9.99 and £1800. I reckon something around the £40 mark should suffice, I'll have a proper look a bit later.

Quite fancy a bit of Kentucky Fried Chicken tonight. Are they up and running with their business again now?
