Now THAT is true trivia. ( To which we can all relate).Edited by nonsequitur on Saturday 24th March 10:12
Lower back, I've got one of those Tens machines attached to the affected area pulsing away at the moment,
I was in Homebase pricing up some materials, the small barcodes were at floor level, I bent forward to try and read the price and make sure the barcode was related to the correct product and my lower back went into spasm, I had to lie on the floor to straighten myself up then an assistant helped me out of the shop.
That was lunchtime yesterday

Have suffered myself. Not so trivial now.I was in Homebase pricing up some materials, the small barcodes were at floor level, I bent forward to try and read the price and make sure the barcode was related to the correct product and my lower back went into spasm, I had to lie on the floor to straighten myself up then an assistant helped me out of the shop.

If you can get someone to help, lay flat on your back on the floor, NOT A BED, keeping your shoulders flat to the floor, starting with the worse side, slide your heel back until the foot is flat on the floor, like you'd be about to do a sit up, get your helper to grip your knee and pull it so that the knee starts to come across your body, keep your shoulders flat but allow your hip to start coming off the floor, you'll reach a point where it starts to become painful, go slightly past that point and get your helper to hold your leg/keep pressure and count slowly to 10, release slowly and repeat on the opposite side, it's called a cruciform twist and stretches the muscles, ligaments and joints helping stop the spasm.I was in Homebase pricing up some materials, the small barcodes were at floor level, I bent forward to try and read the price and make sure the barcode was related to the correct product and my lower back went into spasm, I had to lie on the floor to straighten myself up then an assistant helped me out of the shop.

Hope it helps, Chris
I reckon you're Dr Chris from Breakfast TV and I claim my crisp fiver. Not that it'll do me much good, apparently the Bursar's buggered off for a fortnight with Mrs Greenfield
Anyhow, the old dog's been keeping her eye on what's left of the hydrangeas. I think there could be something lurking there, I'll see what happens.

not guilty m'lord, I keep my medical practices purely in the realms of "if it doesn't hurt me it might help others"!!!Anyhow, the old dog's been keeping her eye on what's left of the hydrangeas. I think there could be something lurking there, I'll see what happens.
I reckon this fella might have something to do with what's keeping the old dog occupied!!

I think it's the film thing he mentioned a while back, they're using his WW2 Willys Jeep and he's got some sort of cameo role in it.
No doubt he'll enlighten us when he's finished buggering around with his make-up.
Yep they’re on scene 18 now. Early start here getting the carb apart and it ran ok and for what was needed I need to get amongst it again to sort a rough acceleration but it’s being used as part of the backdrop at the moment. Found out a clapperboard is used to synchronise the sound and film tracks. No doubt he'll enlighten us when he's finished buggering around with his make-up.
Oh well
