We're going to have to have a rethink on the lawn mower, there's far too much wheelspin. It's spoiling the lawn, we may just as well plough the bugger.

It's been quite a busy day really, haven't ventured anywhere near the B&L nor the F&T.

Had to pick a roll of razor wire up from Trivton Magna so we did pop in the Septic Sailor for a livener. That place never changes. Staggering.
Helicopter, with sharpened rotors. Flown upside down. No damage* to the lawn that way.

A Chinook would halve the time of a single rotor machine.

I’m still thinking of a way to retrieve the bloomers. I’m not convinced my leg needs any more ducking about with this weekend. Flamethrower? LAAW? Obviously, by “retrieve”, I don’t necessarily mean “intact”...

I suspect a helicopter won’t fly upside down for any length of time, so there might be resulting minor divotage in the lawn.

Excellent ideas one and all there Dibble, i quite like the whole Chinook upside down thing, now then all i need to do is procure one and learn how to fly the bugger, what could possibly go wrong?!?!? yes
you know chaps, he has a point, no one said they had to be retrieved intact..............

The helicopter idea's certainly food for thought. I wonder if we could fashion something with two sets of rotors, one on the top for flying and one underneath for cutting?
Mind, you'd have to make bloody sure the bottom lot were shut off before you got out. Could be feasible though.

I'm buggered if I know what to do about the bloomers. Not bothered about getting them back intact, we just need to free up the flagpole. I like the flamethrower idea but can we get close enough with it? I'm wondering about Battert going halfway up the pole on a ladder, that might do it.

I'll give it some thought.

I'm a bit irked that the champion's league final isn't live on normal tv ,that BT sport has nicked all the good stuff.

Not a Liverpool fan and cant even remember who they're playing ,Real Madrid isn't it ?

highlights on ITV at 10ish.

I don't even know who won the FA cup final ,I turned on the tv in Italy ,watched some RAI news 24 then tv required a retune and turned it off

never to return.

They even had an interview with the president of the MM ,that's how important the MM is to Italy.

Apparently you can watch it live on YouTube (and legally). BT Sport are streaming it for some reason, free to all.

You could have watched it on Youtube as BT had very kindly let non subscribers watch it for nowt.
Unfortunately the Liverpool keeper is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard so we lost 3-1.

Not a good day/evening for me, my back is pretty fked up, I have really bad sciatica so my left hip, thigh and knee are killing me so I couldnt face spending the whole day in the TVR driving around the peak district with 120 others , and as a Liverpool fan for the last 40+years tonights match was a disaster

Unfortunately Sergio Ramos clattered through him after 25 minutes and he ended up with a dislocated shoulder frown

If you could locate the Albanian Consulate he might be interested.

My word he doesn't hold with my views on equality. He saw my house for the first time and announced he would pay to store cars there. When I said I would ask Mrs C he nearly exploded. "She is your waaaaf! She does what you say."

He married an English girl too. She must be wiley enough to allow him to think he's in charge.

A splendid array, marvellous. I thought Battert had the last bottle of the Slovak stuff on thursday? He certainly had a bottle of it, he got a bit emotional watching his box set of Last Of The Summer Wine.

Anyhow, cheers beer
