I’m still thinking of a way to retrieve the bloomers. I’m not convinced my leg needs any more ducking about with this weekend. Flamethrower? LAAW? Obviously, by “retrieve”, I don’t necessarily mean “intact”...
*I suspect a helicopter won’t fly upside down for any length of time, so there might be resulting minor divotage in the lawn.

Mind, you'd have to make bloody sure the bottom lot were shut off before you got out. Could be feasible though.
I'm buggered if I know what to do about the bloomers. Not bothered about getting them back intact, we just need to free up the flagpole. I like the flamethrower idea but can we get close enough with it? I'm wondering about Battert going halfway up the pole on a ladder, that might do it.
I'll give it some thought.

Not a Liverpool fan and cant even remember who they're playing ,Real Madrid isn't it ?

I don't even know who won the FA cup final ,I turned on the tv in Italy ,watched some RAI news 24 then tv required a retune and turned it off
never to return.
They even had an interview with the president of the MM ,that's how important the MM is to Italy.

Unfortunately the Liverpool keeper is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard so we lost 3-1.

ked up, I have really bad sciatica so my left hip, thigh and knee are killing me so I couldnt face spending the whole day in the TVR driving around the peak district with 120 others , and as a Liverpool fan for the last 40+years tonights match was a disaster
