We just can't get the correct authorisation to do it here. We try but repeatedly we just come up against a bureaucratic wall.

It's a shame because we felt it would help Member Trivialites and local villagers understand one another better. I'll suggest it again to the Gymkhana Committee but I don't want to get anyone's hopes up.

I turned 50 on Thursday.

Today we had Thunder and lightning with rain and it was the daytime so no great light show.

Had new lawn done as old one I could not revive and I have to water in the morning and night, watering @ 05.00 before work grrrr.

Apart from that I am living the dream!! or dreaming about living, all I know it is one of them.

Time to turn the spuds.
Considering astroturf here.

paperbag
You stay under your bag, grrrrr

Spuds have been turned and I have checked the pork for seasoning smile Not long now.

DickyC I can see you trying to take the bag off and run away.. I am watching you!

Sorry I'm a bit out of synch, I'm just playing catch-up after a busy couple of days.

How do you get 116 TVRs in a pub car park? confused

^ ^ ^ ^ Just like that!
Yesterdays thrills in the hills.
Gutted I couldnt go but my back is just too painful, no way could I drive the TVR with the worlds heaviest clutch that distance

There were plenty of spare seats for co-pilots or navigators. No use of heavy clutch involved.
All you had to do was ask, and we would have found you a ride.

Never mind GOG, there's always next year....

It's been around 25 degrees here all day, now while I do like a bit of sun I do struggle with the heat/humidity, my mum can't understand why when we talk on the phone(she lives in Spain) and she's going on about what lovely weather we're having my response is at best indifference and at worst disgruntled!!!!

It’s the ‘again’ but that gives your post top drawer marks. It shows persistence.

If I lived at number 10, numbers 6,8,12 and 14 are all empty.
14 because it's been refurbished and is now for sale.

I do know 4 are in,16 could be way too......tumbleweed

I need more friends.

I've spent rather too long on the internet this weekend already,I might do 10 minutes gardening tomorrow.
Took a walk earlier down to the golf course.

Way too many to count,I reckon easily over 3000,anther 101 tonight.

hehe

2 weeks without collecting and the woods around the bit I collect in was really lucrative.
The foliage is now growing over many others,I'm not wading into nettles etc.

I was boring yesterday.

Initially post holes, then fashioning a specific spacer bolt that had broken on a mower. It needed the end drilling and tapping and a smaller threaded end fitting I found an exhaust manifold stud did the trick.
