Council == bad at maths.

A normal 360g Toblerone from morries is £3, 4500/360 is 12.5, 12.5*3=37.5... £19.5 saved (fat bastwerd maths, that's 19 and a half £1 pies).

Calling Morrisons "morries", probably council but I feel no shame.

I actively encourage my OH to do that hairstyle - especially on our "council house nights". (That is a real "thing", by the way. The OH is called Alex and she does a special "look" for me - "Council house Alex" cloud9 )

Albeit on a similar note other abnormally large products can be poor value (then again, is it ABC to buy large bottles of Champagne rather than multiple smaller bottles...?)

e.g.

Methuselah of The Society's Brut NV - £280 = £35/bottle

https://www.thewinesociety.com/shop/ProductDetail....

Bottle of The Society's Brut NV - £32 = £32/bottle (but £128 for a case of 6, so £192 for 8 bottles, saving £88 on the Methuselah)

The 150g is just £1, so 30 of those is £27.

Add a couple of quid for PrittStick, and we're onto a winner!

I believe it's colloquially know as the Croydon Facelift.

30*1 = 27?

Fair enough, you can get a lot of £1 pies for the difference.

I normally hate the completely crass demand for pics when anyone mentions a woman on PH, but I think I'm with Ari on this particular occasion! The mental image of Dog Star's Council House Alex nights is quite an appealing one.

She's a fking utter knob. And a council one at that. Seriously, have a word with yourselves. She is god-awful. I would rather fk a decomposing animal.
I wonder what of her skills first stood out for him?

It’s wouldnt be her ability as an education undersecretary I assume!

You just KNOW that when that black top comes off, those baps will drop faster than Sturgeons approval ratings. Bringing a whole new meaning to the term labour 'swing' vote.

The end result of the pull of gravity will probably make her resemble this

You *do* know though, that you know you've hit the jackpot when a woman's nipples brush the duvet when she's on the bed on all fours, right?

I’m sure it’s just me, but this picture brings up a weird synchronicity of opera, mime, and modern art theatre cutting edge bks. Some sort of M Night Shamalamadingdong (or whatever it is) inspired, ‘contemporary, edgy, (insert further superfluous creative adjectives here) street tribute’

I can’t quite get the music, but the 1st stanza (as she gently caresses the ‘vine’) is:

O! c'è un albero che cresce nel muro, un albero, vieni a vedere!

He comes over to look:

Stai attento al mio amore, è evidentemente legato a un triffido e ha contagiato la tua faccia....

Gosh, neither! I’m a mid 40’s Northern oik with an eclectic taste in entertainment. I implement ERM systems for a living (I’m a computer nerd) so can’t claim any sort of creative thought processes, it’s just the way they’ve been (obviously) posed. I think it’s mainly the way she’s holding it. (oo-eer) wink

ETA above: I guess there’s no Italian for Triffid? I was guessing a bit and it’s probably 15 years since I last did any Italian...

I love the sound of the Italian language even though there may not be anything worth saying most of the time. A neighbour of mine when I was a child was an opera singer in training and he would often sing of an evening in his room. When his mother had a go at his father it was a torrent of liquid verbal anger. Beautiful!
