A bit council (Vol 3)

The thing about Benidorm is that the town itself sucks, but the hills above it and down the coast out of town are just lovely.
I wouldn’t want to spend time in Benidorm itself, but I’d happily visit the area again
We've just got back from a week there - cheap family holiday with the kidsI wouldn’t want to spend time in Benidorm itself, but I’d happily visit the area again
We were in the old town, right on the front overlooking Poniente Beach and our hotel had very few Brits and a large number of locals and was all the better for it
All inclusive, lots of fresh seafood dishes and people drinking alcohol to reasonable limits. Decent behaviour around the pool with regards to sunbeds and child noise/behaviour. We had a lovely week - I believe that the hotel is going adult only in 2019
We visited the new town one evening to see what it was like - we didn't go again!
so we're demolishing some flats. the tenants naturally and fairly now get an alternative home of their choice.
It's fascinating looking at the data of how many want a larger home "because they're hoping to win/get/back/have a court case" where they may get custody back of their children.
A sad indication of society !

Why cant the spanish go somewhere else for their holidays
It maybe would be more pertinent to ask, "Why would the Spanish not want to go somewhere else for their holidays?"Jimmy Recard said:

Ought to be grateful. I was under the impression the bits of Benidorm frequented by the locals are far better than those teeming with Brits.
That would be a given, just for the fact that the Brits there would be conspicuous by their absence.I only ever went to Benidorm twice, the second time purely because my wife wouldn’t believe it could be as bad as I said it was when I was there without her.
Naturally, these things are subjective, but I found the place to be a hell hole, with a northern accent.

Do you absolutely HAVE to get them out before demolishing the flats? It's fascinating looking at the data of how many want a larger home "because they're hoping to win/get/back/have a court case" where they may get custody back of their children.

they actually get a homeloss payment.
debts to us are deducted. this means most of them don't get the full amount. they are heartbroken.
although I witnessed a couple of tenant's necking cider back at 9.00 am the other day, giddy with joy about the pending cash coming their way.
think lottery win joy, life changing money joy, birth of a child joy.
or the thought of 9.00 am more cider joy.

Its a bit of a crap holiday when your car breaks down. Not sure why that's council.
But I think it's right what he says at the end.
Leaving Norfolk is not all it's cracked up to be.
It's like another more disappointing world out there.

They are on a Caravan holiday and had to stay in the caravan in a service station car park for one night

“It was not a good experience. It was frightening. My daughter was panicking and upset.
They would have had better facilities at the service station than in a lot of camping grounds!MWM3 said:
Caravan
Complete over reaction- I'm sure it wasn't frightening. Frustrating, most definitley but frightening?
Refused being put up in hotel by RAC and then moan they were just left.
Going to stick to only their native county going forward after one bad experience.
Maybe if he had spent money on maintaining his Transporter rather than buying those horrifically chavistic headlights he wouldn't have broken down in the first place.Complete over reaction- I'm sure it wasn't frightening. Frustrating, most definitley but frightening?
