Take the spaces out

[ b ] makes bold [ / b ]

[ i ] makes italic [ / i ]

Actual council rather than perceived but I have no idea if there is a more suitable topic running. A new sign went up today to help people find one of the local schools.

Seems about par for the course - on my drive to work, on the A10 just outside Royston is a directions sign totally lost to the undergrowth.

At Foxton, thanks to the joys of outsourcing, one gang appeared and replaced the signposts holding up the NSL signs jusrt after the level crossing. It was so many months before the gang that actually attaches the signs appeared that the 50mph limit had been extended to Melbourn. They still stuck an NSL sign on those posts though.

Look on the formatting help link up there ^ when you reply/make a post on PH... or use the following link:

Linky to formatting help

Put simply, square brackets [] at the start of your formatting begin an instruction, the same with a back slash included end the instruction [/].

You want bold text? Use [ b ] at the start of the text you want in bold [ / b ] at the end (I've left spaces in so you can see the formatting code). i in the brackets for italic text, u for underlined text.

There are various other ways to manipulate text , links, formatting etc. Have a look at the link if you're interested.

Edit: speckled jim has posted the same whilst I was composing the above (insert Blackadder/General Melchet joke if you will...).

Her paper round must have been longer than the A1.

I'd love to see the state of the guy who took one for the team. Multiple times. Or multiple guys, the article is short on the details.

she looks like Zelda from Terrahawks

FWIW my ballbag doesn't look that bad. Anyone else imagine she sounds like she gargles with rusty nails, or is that just my overactive imagination?
