Came across something council today. A house with a post on the pavement blocking the driveway.

It looked like the householder did a driveway, but hadn't paid for a dropped kerb. So I am guessing the council gave an ultimatum and then blocked it. Unless I have got it wrong and it is something else.

How embarrassing would that be if it was your home!

The Poles pay other shop keepers to store their illegal tobacco. This practice is rife in that area.
You really don't like Polish people do you? Is it because they are Polish that they are inherently criminals? Or maybe, just maybe they might actually be the same as any other nationality, some good some bad. Crime is a problem in any area of high deprivation, doesn't matter which culture prevails in that area. Lack of opportunity fuels crime.

Problem is of course, that the ignorant then go on to tar them all with same brush. So some Polish criminals mean all Polish people are bad in their entirely misjudged view, as you so neatly demonstrate.

None of that deals with the view that you thought a victim of anti social behaviour should "fk off back to her own country". Which just reinforces that you look xenophobic.

What you should now do of course, is challenge me, and try to get out of this hole you dug, by saying something like "I never said all Polish people were like that". Then we can all pretend you aren't the very epitome of council yourself and move on.

My views are just that, you have yours & I'll have mune.

Here's another one from today's paper, same area, which is totally out of control. That is council.

Kay Burley and "Sadness in his eyes" is a thing, she tweeted something a few years ago and has been mocked for it, so that picture is a piss take.

Bigotry is definitely council

“The Poles are here stealing our tax, ruining our plumbing and selling smuggled fags”
“The Muslims are here to kill us”
“The Jews are scamming us”

Etc

You just moved into the area or something? Hyson Green has been like that for years and in fact was a lot worse in the 80's/90's. Were hardly any Polish residents then if I recall correctly.

I went to school around there at that time, does that make me council too?

These claims companies really are morally bankrupt. And the thing that really sickens me are the 'solicitors' that work for them. The majority would have been supported or even funded through university etc. only to apply their privileged position to the purpose of extortion. Vile people.

Yes, they are scum. There is a special place in hell for the 'solicitors' I saw on an advert recently, encouraging people to get compo from the NHS, bds!

But of course no comeback on the scummy 'solicitors' who probably encouraged them to claim.

Someone had abandoned their shopping list amongst in the 'aisle of dreams' in Aldi first thing this morning.

Clearly a stream of consciousness setting their shopping priorities.

Non-council would, of course, have been written in the order of the store's layout biggrin

So which were the Poles in that gang, do they take it in turn to be Polish?
