Two weeks today and I'll be surrounded by 'fine dining' in Naples FL.

Well, actually I'll be in Denny's eating a Lumberjack Slam, in Naples FL. thumbup
Good choice... I do like the eggs in a basket too smile
Then on to Miami and then Key West.

I can see the majority of contributors to this thread shaking their heads at my utter councilness of even mentioning it. laugh

They’re only jealous of the obvious fun and frolics that people in the embrace of council have and experience ... theyll be tutting quietly shaking their heads, hidden behind their pampas grass

Long story short, we had to push the salad bar back and forwards to disguise the fact a dead body was being removed from the bogs. Well known junkie had sneaked in, scored some bad gear and croaked. Nobody had checked the bogs the previous night.
Bookies in Chesterfield found a punter in the bogs one morning, he'd been there overnight and they'd not checked the bogs before closing up.

All 5 of the Las Vegas strip Denny’s aren’t great and aren’t a good example of Denny’s. The only one that’s half way decent is the one on the traffic split next to the Stratosphere
I think that's the one in LV I went to. A bit down from Circus Circus. The food won't blow your socks off by any means, its still fast food... But it was open at 6am when I was awake and the food was far from inedible. I was working instead of drinking that time in LV so I was up at the crack of dawn every day and Denny's fit nicely into my £8 meal allowance.

Waiting in the barbers and having to endure the Jeremy Kyle show on the big telly. It's torture.

Doing a massive fart on a freezing cold airbridge whilst everyone is waiting to get on the plane, people gagging all over the place.

I found Denny's in the states to be one of the worst for thicko trailer trash-types, like Golden Carol, the Sizzler and Ponderosa. The more they concentrated on a buffet model, the worse the food standard.

I didn't think Perkins and Olive garden were that bad, being more of a traditional eatery but they are all cheapo establishments.
I’d totally disagree, Denny’s is simple fayre for families at a low cost base - and no buffets in sight

Brits always bash Denny’s yet in reality it’s far better and far more consistent (as well as better value) than any of its British contemporaries
Dennys is a guilty pleasure of mine. No trip to the states is complete without a visit to Dennys smile

Great place Naples FL.
3rd Ave. South is like a mini Rodeo Drive, if you like Mexican food, check out Amigo’s Café, on U.S. 41, Tamiami Trail, near the Lely Estates, terrific huevos rancheros at breakfast.

The mother appears to have melted into a beige blob.

The picture of the mother is going to attract some comments...

Edit: shouldn't have taken so long to reply!

Bear in mind that she will have needed several hours notice of the photographer's arrival to allow enough time to apply the slap and to choose how much of her assets to reveal.
