Come on guys. The parents who no doubt went to the papers so they could have their 15 mins are fair game in this thread and all the others like it. However, I become a bit uncomfortable when grown men start making fun of a child.
100% agree; this thread has taken a nasty turn
I'm compelled to register my agreement with this. Insulting children publicly is a little too far for me.

Fat policewoman fails fitness test, takes police force to tribunal for 'disability and sex discrimination' and loses.

"the tribunal court in Reading, Berkshire, found she was not suffering a disadvantage in the test because of her gender but because of her lack of fitness."

Back in the day when these things were popular, clients of a Stripagram lady refused to pay her fee on the grounds that she wasn't good looking as claimed. She took them to court, which found in favour of the defendants.
Imagine the shame of being legally defined as ugly! eek

trades descriptions act though ... lol

thats probably where the 'specialist' sector arose from ... I hired a "roly poly" stripper/escort/personal services lady for my bosses stag, she was very oversized but performed like a pro - worth every penny lb for lb

Rubbish. when they went running to the press for public sympathy they threw all rights to fair ctitism out the window.
Anyway they are ugly .

Regional flags on your car when you have moved to another part of the UK.

I don't mean travelling on journeys or temporary moves which is understandable, but actually living there now for decades. Nothing wrong with being proud of where you are from.

But if you love Scotland/Wales to an extent you need to sticker up your car with a flag, why move confused

At the risk of disagreeing again with you Gus, why are you bothered how attractive a child is? Are the children the ones running off to the press, or is it the terrible excuse for parents that are the real problem?

There has just been a Aldi open about 20 mins walk from mine.
I thought i would pop in on the way back from work.
When i'm up Nottingham way i use the one at Bingham and that's fairly civilised.
The new Leyton one could be on another planet.

The store is large for a Aldi and it was packed. Apart the check out staff i heard 3 people speaking English. There was a large percentage of East Europeans, the other major group were Muslims. Thats fairly normal for around there as i very seldom hear English being spoken.
There were the odd Older English looking people.
It did look an incredibly poor crowd even for an Aldi.
You tend to forget how badly off some areas are for large shops in London.
It did seem like it was a novel experience shopping in a supermarket for many people there.
Apparently early mornings are quiet as is i imagine when Jeremy Kyle is on.

It certainly was an eye opener and certainly the most council place i have been for a while

Card shops on the high street - always council affairs.

Missus and I were in one today, an independent/small chain (not sure), not Clinton’s or card factory or whatever.

Anyway... some fat mouth breather started wailing to her partner across the shop ‘look for one with frenchies on it babe’ over and over...

Took me a second to realise she was talking about French Bulldogs(also council), one of which she was dragging around the shop on a diamanté studded leash.

I take a fence. Mrs. runs a card shop.
It is on a high street.
Council not encouraged to enter.
She allows in: Waitrose type shoppers / Daily Telegraph readers.
Dogs are allowed. Water and biscuits provided.
Christmas cards are not displayed until August

In store demographic at local store matches local demographic. How is that council? Being non-English (by birth, language or heritage) is not council (believing it so to be is about the most council thing I can imagine).

I've never been in an Aldi, so I don't know, but I imagine council (in all flavours) is pretty much par for the course. Thus, a one-word answer of, 'Aldi', would probably have done the job and reflected slightly better on you, Baldy.
