The wind aspect has been true already. Bloody Olive tree got blown over yesterday! Even thought about wearing a jumper to work today.

What a PH thing to say...

Couple of trees down on my commute to Cirencester.
Had to detour via another village.

Which was nice smile

I'm due to order some Cross Climates for the car this month.

Unseasonably warm winter is now guaranteed biggrin

It must have been horrendous here overnight, no idea how I slept through it.

My scotch bonnet plant was blown over, and I have around 3 metres of water at the bottom of the garden as do most of my neighbours in our locality.

I had the heating on for 20 minutes on Sunday night to help warm it up. Have managed to resist since.

This is our first winter in this house, no idea if this corner of Essex sees much snow!

Heating has been on for almost a week now, unheard of! It's cold.

Thought about wearing a jumper today. Didn't. Regret it. Car was showing 7.5°C this morning!

Don't tell the Express, but the computer models have an interesting take on the future of Hurricane Maria, and the subsumed Jose over the next week or so.

Plenty of newspaper talk about left over hurricane bits battering Britain. At this moment there is no agreed on result from the models. It could hit Scotland, it could hit France - and everything in between.

Keep an eye out for the forecast around Sunday/Monday - possibly potent, but it's wrong to try and forecast currently.

I saw a white feather falling slowly in Burghfield Common this morning - does that count?

Sheffield has had some quite chilly nights, and lots of fog on them. Not freezing fog but still.

Netweather forecast this morning for Sunday and Monday looks terrible. Really quite windy. Still needs work to be accurate?

Yes, still lots of disagreement. Hopeful signs of high pressure afterwards though.
