You lot clearly haven't been following Puggit threads long enough. With all this ramping, there's only one direction for things to go now...
Absolutely - it the question isn't if it will happen or not. Just how severe it will be, and how long.

The Met Office is forecasting light snow showers here outside Southampton on Monday with max 1C feeling like -5C, blowing a fair bit as well. I don’t mind it on my days off but if it gets bad on Wednesday that’ll be a bloody nuisance as it causes carnage at work.

This weather malarkey needs to time it's antics VERY carefully. I'm off to the Sierra Nevada this weekend, returning next Wednesday. It can piss about and flake a bit up until then, but it needs to keep it's powder dry on Weds so that I can fly back in (and drive MrsC's car home from the airport, got to take hers as she needs the Rangie whilst I'm away), but then from Wednesday evening onwards it can fill it's (snow) boots, bring it on!

Could be some truly epic, once-a-decade driving days and road trips available in Brecon, Snowdonia, Yorkshire, West Highlands, Cotswolds, Dartmoor and elsewhere during the next 3 to 10 days.

Looking very crisp, very clear and very sunny in many places. Get up early before the crowds, etc.

+1 this man is the anti-snow!

I’d be fired if I was exactly the opposite of right so many times hehe

If you lot are all wrong I want my money back for thermal gloves that will keep me warm possibly from the car park to the office.
When they get delivered.

Now feel my pain as the carpark is NCP and 10 minute walk from the damn office and it is all your fault.

DM will be contacted and I will have said gloves and a sad face and I will instruct someone to value my house just incase.

I have watched this thread for years and the other 500 page one that has been put out to pasture and nothing in Bristol.

I want my compo of a prawn cocktail 1970's style smile

West is not best next week.

Having been to Uni in Brizzle I know it doesn't snow there anyway.

Are you sure? I will find you and give blackadder a slap from said good gloves or bad, dependant on me buying good or bad.

For the record Bristol used to get 2 to 3 foot of snow when I was 12 - 16 years old so that would be 34 years ago roughly.

That makes me 203695478.00 days old or 49.7 ish years old. I may have made some st up

The netweather forecast for Monday has just increased the temperature slightly. Still cold, but not as cold as has been forecast up until now.

As we get closer, does it look like it will be a little warmer than predicted?

As others have said above, I'm done with winter now.

There is little room for upgrades now - it really can't get any 'better'

It could go either way here. On the one hand I have a Disco on winters, on the other the sledges and snow shovel are in the motorhome which is stuck in the garage for the foreseeable... confused

This evening's charts are a complete pile of horse manure. Total crash and burn, amazing how things can change.

Sorry folks, extended winter is cancelled. Break the daffs out next week!
