You're not wrong there. I was out washing the car. In the sun it felt lovely, but in the shade/wind it was bloody frigid!
Yes, but did you see the silver Mercedes wrapped around the tree on Chapel Row Green this morning. Someone's managed a major off overnight, took out five wood posts, onto grass...experiencing major 'I'm a passenger moment'...resulting in totalled car.

Beautiful "blue sky and sunshine" spring day down here on the south coast today. Temps around 5 or 6 degrees. Calm before the storm?

As predicted, Met Office have gone Amber for Tuesday for an area on the East Coast (and considerably inland), although further South than I thought. If you are in, or near that area, think twice about setting out.

I'm right in the middle of the amber bit, and I have a 130 mile roundtrip commute around the M25.

Think I'll work from home!!
I'm in the centre right edge of that amber blob. Glad I'm only a mile and a half from work.

  • If* this comes off, this is a once in a couple of generations storm.
I'm certainly not calling it now, we'll know around Wednesday on the viability.

If we don't get a snow day at school I'm blaming you!

I’m supposed to fly LHR - DXB at 9am on Monday 5th. The lanes round North Hampshire might be a bit of fun at 5am..!
