The Met Office keep talking about a weather event!

I'm hoping all the other Muppets will stay off the roads, I'll be in a Disco on winters and carrying more kit than necessary (including ice axe and crampons hehe) but tbh if it's that bad I assume the flight will be off.

Not sure what tonight's GFS shows, but the NW forums are down again.

I’m going from Soton to Heathrow on Thursday. Although if there’s more than a couple of cm’s there’ll be no reason to go as my girlfriends flight will be diverting somewhere else.

It’s pushing centre of the channel low on Thursday much further West at 113 hours, to over Ireland. I can’t really see that happening as it’s nit consistent with the track it was taking before 110hrs

Always is! If only you could land a 777 at Soton it would save me a few gallons of petrol!

I feel as excited about this as I did as a kid on Christmas eve.

A massive thanks to those in the know for sharing and posting up their knowledge.

I'm in East Berks between the M4 and M40 and seem to be on the edge of the amber zones but live in hope.

She might, I don’t!

Last time we had a decent snow event I was working a Virgin inbound to Heathrow that ended up diverting to Frankfurt!!

GFS pushing the low away looks like temps will lift after Thursday as well.
