Snowing steadily in Chesterfield. No wind so falling vertically - at least it makes the place look pretty.

fking hell - snow day no.47 (or that's what it feels like anyway)!!

Must be about 2-3in deep and still snowing. No doubt it'll melt and flood everywhere this afternoon.

Stannington, Sheffield. In case anyone's interested.

Can't get out of our friends' road in Huddersfield, steep hill at each end.

Raining now, so shouldn't be long!

Highly disappointed. Dropped off my c63 at Mercedes Saturday. Was given a GLC loan fitted with all season tyres. No where to go and play around here. grumpy I tried the local higher ground (A470 Merthyr to Brecon) but only a little snow.

I'm happy - I live just off the A470 on the Brecon side of the pass and am quite happy thank you that it's not snowy. Quite warm really given the doom and gloom elsewhere.

I hear you but I just wanted to try out these tyres and see what all the fuss is about.

Nowt but grey, damp and mild here on the Shropshire/ Worcestershire/ Herefordshire border. No shouting on facebook so sounds like the higher ground here (Clee Hill) is clear too.

The heavy rain melting heavy snow in Huddersfield created abysmal road conditions. Apologies for the wet sod I splashed redface

First I was promised snow, then rain equivalent to an explosion in an old Nissan gearbox factory, and all I got was drizzle.

I'm hoping that's the lot now; I would really like temperatures to rise a bit and stuff to dry out.

I've been trying to sort our new summerhouse for spring, do some gardening and whatnot - but it's just sooooo cold out there.

My sons work in forestry in SE scotland - they pointed out last night that they lost their first day's work to snow back in November, now its April and plus ca change, plus de meme choses. Except they didn't use French, more Anglo-saxon.
