I stopped in at Melbourne yesterday on my way from Wellington to Kuala Lumpur and it was all over the news channels that Melbourne was officially the coldest major city on Earth yesterday morning.

I saw the snow at Ben Nevis yesterday. I don’t live here, so thought it might be a regular occurrence in summer. Clearly not!

I mean I don’t live beside Ben Nevis, so I wouldn’t know how often it snows up top in summer smile

We have snow on the tops in early June about every third year (Torridon). Doesn't last long mind.

Been stupid dry and hot (for here) for the past two months, so not this year!

If anyone is interested. Here's yesterday's summer solstice - 24 hours into 1 minute
