Just saw the long range forecast and came on here to ask.

Is it a good likelihood to hit? Staying down near Falmouth so will have to pop over onto the Lizard to a couple of favourite spots for a peek around if there is a big swell on.
Still looking good for Saturday morning (although these things tend to slip backwards in time). SW and S Wales looking a good bet if wind is your thing...

Ha! They didn't rename Ophelia, so I was wondering if they'd dropped that naming nonsense.

Purely done for the media, IMO. Why does every single story now come packaged with a handful of exclamation marks?

Might get some breakers coming in then. Spring tide as well, 10 meters.

Temperature was down around 6 or 7 degrees as well this morning.

I'm looking at Crete, but the whole Eastern end seems to be getting something colder.

Has the Daily Express run its annual, ludicrous 'worst winter since records began' forecast story yet?!

Hearing the halyards clanging away against masts out of the bedroom window. Getting a bit breezy. Forecast is a bit more breezy on Saturday.

Ah well, didn't want to clean the windows this weekend anyway smile
