Excellent, my thread has arrived...
Kitchens. Went looking with the OH to a well known kitchen retailer. 8 mdf carcasses, some chipboard worksurface, doors and fancy handles. £6k inc vat. What. The. Fu*k? Fitting on top of course...
Kitchens seem the biggest con going in my book, unless everyone is somehow paying much much less than originally quotes prices.

These and general tile distribution places. Stacked to the rafters with all kinds of tile. Must be millions in stock.

train travel, every last crumb of property in this country, printer ink.
Train travel is a joke it should always be the cheapest form of travel not the most expensive no wonder nobody uses them. Google helps a lot

I wouldnt pay that much, I am from Yorkshire.
I would just tell people to lie down on the rug and the whippet will give you a good licking.
Someone I know pays this, posh part of London and says its worth it.
Your example doesn't really fit the spirit of the thread anyway. If someone is providing an optional service then they can charge whatever they can get away with. There are cheaper yoga sessions available.I would just tell people to lie down on the rug and the whippet will give you a good licking.

Red Bull, seems you need a mortgage to buy a 250ml can now at a petrol station, over the years Red Bull slowly increased there prices for some reason they think they are premium brand, and people will buy it because its got Red Bull on the can, bks people buy energy drinks as they want the energy, I drink Boost instead 49p a can vs £1.20 - £2 for Red Bull, Boost tastes better as well.
Genuine BIC Biros bought individually - I mean 75p ?
Bubble Wrap - I'm sure its gone up in price across the board recently
Talking of high prices I had to smile.
A well known national electrical chain that allows its staff to take the laptops home recently attempted to close down a small typically "we stock everything" type low cost shop The shops crime ?
Offering a 10% reduction of any of their HDMI cables if the buyer showed them a certain electrical retailers receipt. The shop is situated very near to the electrical retailer

Packet of Pro-Plus is cheaper Korean cars.
Yes, they're better than they used to be, but you can spend £40,000 on a 4-pot diesel Hyundai SUV. Who would have thought that a few years ago?
Also, flimsy timber trellis from diy store!
They wanted £14 pounds for what was essentially 8 thin bits of timber tacked together...

£300 for two 1 hour sessions in a group of 12.
Bring your own mat and everything else.

13 Euros for a single 330ML bottle of heineken (not export) in an Ibiza nightclub. Que much swearing.
I didn't know they still did Heineken Export. My memory was that in the 80's/90's that Heineken was approx 3% abv, and Heineken Export was approx. 5%. Then at some point in the late 90's, they stopped selling Export, and just had standard Heineken.
I always thought Export was just for the UK, and that everywhere else had Heineken. I always thought it was something to do with when lager was introduced to the UK and taking over from bitters/pale ales, and it was because the UK drinker still thought they had to have 20 pints on a Friday night, and 20 pints of 5% was more dangerous than 20 pints of 3%. Better profits for the brewer and landlord as well!
I was in Ireland recently and I am sure they do a low alcohol version of Heineken, but the standard Heineken is as per what Export was.
So do they still do Heineken Export?
Sorry for thread de-rail!
