I've got a cheap CCTV setup with a spare camera. I can bring the DVR in from the garage and give it a bash.

I'll upload the video in the garden to YouTube.

Have you had your boiler serviced recently?

You may be suffering from low level carbon monoxide poisoning. It'd be worth ensuring you have a working alarm.

Congratulations
Post no further.

Get onto www.Randi.org and sign up for the $1million dollar challenge.

With all that evidence - you are going to be a very rich man.

Oddly enough - no-one has ever won it.

Could it be... let me guess.....

Old house.
Joists as rackety as st
Draughty
Old central heating/ none/ arse gravy whatever is in place.

Even Derek A Roach. Sorry Derek Acorah was caught out by lies of "The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe"

Your house isn't haunted. It needs fixing up.

If is is haunted - invite several hundred of us round and we can watch Casper and Co,

Have some cahonas - and sign up for the Randi challenge.

Somehow - I think we won't be hearing too much about it once they have a look.

Yes, new CO alarm was my first purchase and the system has since had a number of inspections.

Pretty sure Derek saw plenty of spirits in his car? Your post is spot on.

Wouldn't upload from the laptop, kept getting stuck at processing. A recording of a recording of a recording, but here.

I'm sat sorting out the strimmer. He looks over and sees something. Says he saw a child. I ask what he saw and he points exactly where.

Something odd goes across the camera at 10 seconds.

That was really spooky.

My sensible head says it's all bks, but I spent a summer in a farm house a few years ago as part of a harvest job and the place was just plain spooky. I couldn't put my finger on it but there was something about the place. Then the head man at the farm said one of the ex managers had it exorsised because there was the noise of a swarm of bees in there.

You could make it a tourist attraction.
bee gone!

Just going to bed. Lights on again in a room no one has been in. Very odd. Frequency definitely appears to be increasing

Ok I'll play.

Describe the shaking bed incident in detail including intensity and what you did/ how it stopped, Did you get out of bed and feel vibration in the floor etc.
It was shaking to the intensity of a person grabbing the frame and making it move. Nothing extreme. It lasted 10 seconds. I thought about the floor, pipes etc. They all run on the outside of the wall and the floor is lime ash. It was odd and my heart was absolutely pounding. I'd felt similar, but lower intensity, when we had a earthquake tremor a while back in a different house. I even looked it up to see if there was any activity that night.
Labarinthitus

I had it recently - no ear pain, but one of the first symptoms was very vivid dreams that awoke me.

I swore I heard someone stamping on the floor above me (which is the loft).. like you I even searched the net for local earthquakes being reported.. nothing.

I did suffer with a bit of Labarnythitus for a while not long after.

Can you rig up infra red or night vision cameras? I'm genuinely interested.

The creakiness might be down to material expansion of the property due to temperature fluctuations, so the first thing is to keep the heating on at a steady temperature, day and night until the property maintains a constant temperature. If the footsteps and creaking floorboards continue, then the most plausible explanation - the house is expanding and contracting due to it warming and cooling - can be eliminated.

Yes I believe in this sort of stuff, and yes I think there might be a bit more to this.

I wasn't a believer in this sort of thing until something similar happened to neighbours of mine.
They had been living next door for about six months when strange things started happening.
Sometimes, whilst in bed, they would hear chairs being scraped across the brick floor in the kitchen.
A newspaper was found spread across the floor in front of the fireplace one morning and on another occasion a heavy duffle coat, hung on the back of the door, span round of it's own accord.
The final straw came one night when the dog came backing up the stairs growling when it was sent down to investigate the chairs moving.
They moved out the next day to stay with family.
Someone advised them to see the local vicar who in turn, gave them the details of a local spiritualist society who were very keen to help.
From what I gather, a meeting was held in the house. Some sort of seance.
I don't remember the exact details but apparently the spirit of a child was 'summonsed', a twelve year old who had been told to look after their siblings in a house following the death of their parents from the plague. All the children perished in the house but this particular one couldn't 'move on' because they had promised to take care of their siblings. The current house although old itself, was supposedly built on the site of an old farmhouse where this happened.
It seemed to cure the problem.

Cameras are infra red, so will work. I’ll give it a go soon, but I’m away with work tomorrow night. I’d be interested if my wife noticed anything while I’m gone.

This isn’t the ghost equivalent of the Nazi bunker thread. Genuinely looking for good ideas.

It's not all BS , somethings might be caused by an over hyped imagination following initial experiences but don't be alarmed , accept whatever goes on and all will be well .We had similar events in an old house , freaked me for a while , but learned to live with them , and them with us hehe
