More than a bit o/t, but when I was doing the Knowledge, the Met Police examiners were fond of making the questions they asked to see if you knew your way around, kind of linked up.
e.g. “Take me from The Cutty Sark, to the Royal Thames Yacht Club.”
You’d then have to name the streets, King William Walk, Greenwich, to Knightsbridge, then every street, road, avenue, in a straight line between those two points.
When in a funny mood, they’d ask, “Take me from Cock Lane to Pratt Street.”
