The best resole and heel job you’ll get is by returning them to the manufacturer for a service. It will be like £100 but I don’t think there’s anywhere they will do a decent job with a 2 hour turnaround. I don’t even think you’ll get a st job done in that timeframe.
Then you require an education! Thanks to PH members I've found two decent shoe repairers in the Midlands. I also had two of my "own" until they retired. It's perfectly possible to get good quality repairs done, without going back to the manufacturer, and quickly.
I would put £100 on there being a quality shoe repairer within half a mile of Savile Row, who can heel a pair of boots within a couple of hours and do a good job.
Anyone?
What about speaking to 'the shoe guy' that is nearly always there?
I'm sure they'll give you his/their number if you call.
I doubt he would/could do them that quickly, but he may be able to recommend someone who can.

Well, Gaziano and Girling and Cad and the Dandy tell me that Tony’s Heel Bar in Crown Passage are used by the makers for such repairs. Having called them, they say they can do the job in two hours and they are half a mile away.
So far, so good.
oops.So far, so good.
Hit reply before reading the thread to the end.
There's been a lot of action in here today.

Seems odd, given that only bespoke G&Gs are made in London - their RTW range are made in Kettering. I find it hard to believe they outsource their re-heeling to London, or do they request you send the shoes back to Savile Row as opposed to the factory? Either way pretty shocking for a "top-tier" maker. So far, so good.

I took that to mean that if a customer walked into C&J, Barker, maybe G&G who knows, asking for heel rubber replacement, that is where the shop would get them done.
The boots in question are my wife’s and they are Spanish I think. I certainly wouldn’t send them back to Spain for heel rubbers. If they were some of my good shoes and they needed soles and heels I might well return them to the maker. But even with those I probably wouldn’t just for heel rubbers.
I am actually just having a coffee waiting to collect those boots. I will pass comment when I’ve got them.

i can't see much of the rest of the shoe, or the style etc, but that repair looks absolutely terrible.InductionRoar said:

Depends on whether the heelstack has been replaced or whether it is just the rubber part.
Just the rubber. Mrs So likes them. They look nice and they are fully fur lined (artificial fur anyway), so they keep her toes warm.

That would be Panama Jack. They make OK boots I think, but they aren't what you'd call a "quality maker". I don't see a massive amount wrong with them though, for a "fashion" boot.

Fair enough - keeping the wife happy is very important. Mrs So likes them. They look nice and they are fully fur lined (artificial fur anyway), so they keep her toes warm.
