While you might eventually get a refund, eveybody dealing with the complaint will be saying "Why didn't they just phone and it would have been replaced?". I can imagine that you didn't want to wait ages for another, but I think they are usually able to rush a mistake replacement out if you are polite.

Or perhaps if you take what was left they might be able to have a look at it and replace it while you wait. I can imagine that in a busy pizza shop the toppings guy will occasionally read the label wrong, or get distracted and do the same toppings twice by accident.

Take my advice chap, never mix pizza with porn.

One minute your sat with one of the worlld's greatest rustic meals on your lap,and
Two girls one cup on your screen.

The next thing you know, you're waking up with a congealed mass
of crap between your legs, complete with a topping you certainly don't remember
ordering.
Sort yourself out lad.

I ordered a pizza a few days ago from a large national pizza shop that has overpriced pizzas with lots of discounts.

They didn't have a discount that suited me, and I was starving and didn't have time for anything else, so I ordered one for about £18 which is stupid money for a pizza.

It arrived cold, soggy and with completely wrong toppings - I'm pretty sure I got someone else's pizza, although the label/toppings list on the box was correct for the pizza I ordered.
I couldn't eat any of the toppings, some because they were disgusting and others I'm allergic to. I ended up not eating.

I called the branch the next day, they said that because I paid with paypal I need to email their head office for a refund.
I emailed the head office... No reply.
So I raised a paypal dispute... No reply.
So I asked paypal to take over the case, and they said they'd make a final decision after a response from the pizza shop... No reply.

PayPal eventually made their final decision without hearing from the pizza company, and their decision is "We are unable to take any action on this case because it is not covered under PayPal Buyer Protection."

I paid for one product, and received a different and unsuitable product. How is that not covered???

How do I get my money back?
Paypal side with seller shocker! Im sure if it was alans pizzas in watford you would have been issued a refund! In bed with the large pizza company it would seem

A few months ago I bought a 1 pound pizza in Asda ,it had 1/3 of the topping missing ,I still ate most of it and it wasn't good.

I didn't complain.

Last week I spotted and bought a 60p pizza in Asda ,I didn't expect much but it was better than the 1 pound thing.

Fine dining always at Grigio mansions.....lick
Are you sure

I once made the mistake of ordering a crispy base pizza from dominoes. It was utterly shyte.

I still ate it because starving. Then complained via email.

The shop fella called the next evening with a free massive lovely pizza and £20. I thought that was brilliant.

I haven't ordered from their since though, it's just a straight up rip off.

We have one near me that is normally £6 for a large pizza but at the moment they are all half price Monday to Thursday. They are amazing.

I do like Dominos though but only when I get discount. Would never pay full price.

Order another pizza then take the delivery guy hostage, issue a rambling and inconcise list of demands, ultimately die in a massive shootout with the cops.

Why use email to resolve this?
Given how many people are scared of opening the front door I'm really not surprised.

The pizza from Dominos is not the best but they always deliver in less than 20 min even at 8pm on a Friday and generally its £20 for 2 pizzas. If there is a problem which is pretty rare they will come back with a replacement.

My local take away is usually about £16 for 2 pizzas but its an hour wait and the pizza is loaded with grease and generally tastes like lard (some might say that's an advantage). If there is a problem you just get attitude and a replacement covered in spit.

We do have one local place that's decent for pizza but its just as expensive as Dominos. Recently tried Papa Johns and got to say I found it pretty good, although they are no where near as fast as Dominos, well over an hour.
