Amazon Prime useless again

It's ok, Amazon will be charging you more soon to mess up your deliveries!

How can someone have another person's parcel delivered and not know what to do? It's not exactly difficult!
How can a delivery driver drop off the wrong parcel at someone elses address thats not even on the right street.I believe she gave it back to the driver the next day.
Also, i didnt know this but you cant track your package via the pc webpage but you seem to be able to see where the van is via the mobile app

So the delivery drivers dont have Sat Nav and remember every single drop location and route to memory before leaving the depot in the morning @ circa 5am?
Maybe you should ask the delivery company not a random car forum ?I'd be very surprised if they leave the depot at 5am though.
I haven't beed a Prime member for long, but I've already had a few issues with failed delivery promises. Each time they have given me an extra months membership as an apology,
Im currently waiting for an item that should have been delivered the day before yesterday, but didn't arrive. I used their online chat to report it and they gave me another one month membership and a promise of a delivery today. Guess what - it hasn't arrived so they have given me £8 credit and a promise of a delivery tomorrow.

I've placed 93 orders with Amazon this year (144 last year), maybe had 1 or 2 parcels not arrive on the specified day.
I think if you place regular orders the drivers get to know what the deal is, they quite often will come to the side gate and holla down the garden to see if we are in before leaving it behind the gate. If it's raining it will be left with our next door neighbour. If they are on holiday, we have prime boxes in the village which are pretty convenient.
I definitely can't fault the service.
I may set up a small storage box behind the gate this year so stuff can be left and it remain dry.
What with TV/Music/Free Delivery what we pay a year is a bargain!

I’ve placed 63 orders with amazon prime this year and only had an issue with 1 delivery where the driver got the wrong house. Maybe because I’m in a city within 25min of the depot that I have more success? Placed around 100 orders, currently service is Ok, had 7-8mths extensions last year & we were literally a few hundred yards from their depot. Different driver nearly every day around here, they have been English recently.
Another day, another rogering from Amazon and their gimp couriers, delivery switched to "attempted" (to a business address where there's full CCTV on the car park and every press on either of the door bells is logged) yet I can say for sure that no attempt was made here.
I guess the problem is that they give their drivers too many stops to make so towards the end of the day they just start skipping them.
No doubt I'll simply be offered another free month of prime, totally missing the point that what I really want is just for them to pull up and deliver stuff.

On our front gate it clearly states 'PLEASE LEAVE PARCELS IN ROUND BIN WITH LID'
Ordered a small parcel from amazon.. Amazon courier just lobs in over the gate in the rain without even knocking!!!
I guess that's what happens when they pay their drivers peanuts. Can't be bothered with it now so just cancelled.

Sadly they don’t offer free months anymore. I called last month to complain about multiple late deliveries over the period of a few weeks. I asked about some sort of compensation (expecting a free month) but was told they couldn’t do anything and they don’t offer free months anymore.

I remember the glory days when it was like this for us. It all went to hell when the local amazon warehouse opened (less than three miles away) and around 25% of our deliveries don’t come next day when it was promised, or their tracking is hours out. What with TV/Music/Free Delivery what we pay a year is a bargain!
It was also guaranteed that any delivery would be past 8pm too. Useless.

Most stuff on 3-4 day free delivery gets delivered in a couple of days. It's stopped me buying tat because I can have it next day. 2017 Amazon spend c£6,300; 2018 spend after cancelling Prime £1,000ish. Gone are the days when Amazon had decent bargains. They've gone all EuroCarParts on their pricing/fake deals etc.
Me and the other half stop and start Prime as and when we need it.
Sometimes we'll each want something when the other has Prime, so send links between us for the other to buy.
I wanted some silver foil tape earlier this week, is was about £2 more expensive on Prime as it was non-Prime with free delivery.
s, basically, robbing ones at that!
