Rick Dickinson - Sinclair Spectrum (and ZX80/81) designer

A great piece of design work (even if the 16k RAM pack did wobble loose!). I still have a ZX81 and a rubber keyboard 48K Spectrum in the loft!

Are you following the Vega+ debacle as well? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-43907248

Nope I saw the Vega+ when it was on kickstarter/other or where-ever it was advertised but didn't buy into it. What's the issue?
It's 3 years late, loads of legal battles between new directors and ousted directors/shareholders, a campaign of misinformation and subterfuge from Retro Computers Ltd, former employees revealing the inside story, a big split in the retro-Sinclair community and £500k of backers money unaccounted for. It's allegedly being distributed to backers next month.... But the full gory details have been documented on this site - http://retro-computers.co.uk/
Rick designed the original Vega+ unit, but to his credit he was off the scene before all the drama kicked off.
Good riddance:
