The moronic council tt who thought it would be a good idea to install bollards on Dickson Road in Blackpool which reduce the usable width of the pavement by a third, to an extent that it is difficult for pedestrians to pass each other, never mind mobility scooters or pushchairs :/

No doubt they cost a lot of money to install, and will cost even more to move following sufficient complaints - all at a time when councils are cutting vital services due to lack of cash frown

You moved to Blackpool now then?
Nope - still 5 miles further North smile

UPS's delivery tracking system.

Provides super accurate tracking all across Europe, until its put on a van in a town 30 miles away and then simply says 'Arriving Today'.

What fking use is knowing what time it arrived and left Dusseldorf and Amsterdam airports, if you cant tell me within 2 or 3 fking hours when I actually need to be at home to receive what I've ordered?! DPD give a 1 hour time slot at 7.30 am, and yet UPS cant even tell me which half of the day (oh, and the day goes up to 7pm!) to be at home! 10 hours sat waiting around for a ing parcel which will take 20 seconds to sign for.

Just before Christmas, I endured your pain, waiting for a UPS delivery from Germany. As it was a credit card, I absolutely had to be there to sign for it.

Waited in all day as requested. Around 4.30 I suddenly hear the roar of an engine departing. Wander to the front door and find the package posted through my letter box.

Virtually everything to do with our loft conversion. I hate dealing with 'tradespeople'.

Examples,

Shoddy eaves doors knocked together with a bit of MDF and architrave off cuts and being charged £1200. fk right off!
Wonky staircase or wonky walls, hard to tell which but gaps aplenty.
Leaking roof, 3 attempts before fixing properly.
1st fitted wardrobe fitter, disappears and refuses to answer calls to my wife. Answers to me, promises everything, disappears again.
2nd fitted wardrobe fitter, fits all but a shelf and handle. Takes 2 months to return and finish job.
Set of drawers arrives, gets taken up to loft, clearly water damaged and clearly bodged fix attempted. Rejected.
Carpet due to be delivered today after having been ordered weeks ago, carpet shop only just check carpet and it's damaged.

That said, chippy and decorator were great, on time, tidy and did the job they were paid to do.

I wish it was convenient and useful, but telling me exactly what time it was collected, how long it spent at various depots and then that it spent 45 mins at Amsterdam airport, leaving at 2.21am, yet will simply arrive 'sometime today', is neither convenient nor useful.

People who fix mirrors at the wrong height.
I'm stood looking at a 4ft high mirror fixed 1ft from the floor, i'm just over 6ft so can't see my face in it. The bathroom one is also fitted so low I have to bend down to use it too.

That's the standard joke at my Mothers house. Both her and my Step Father are 5' 2", so the mirrors are set accordingly. My Sister and I are both over 6', so have to bend down to use them properly whenever we visit laugh
On the plus side though, whenever they give us a lift anywhere, there is loads of room in the back of their car laugh

Tall folks who moan when just for once a short person gets one over on them!

See ad infinitum assertions that short people shouldn't be allowed umbrellas, etc, then watching all the ignorant tall ccensoredts swarm to the front at festivals, gigs, cinemas, etc, blocking the view for shorties who got there earlier.

TTAYBR? Plumbers who hang sinks so high that I can't wash my balls in them...

...because at least with a mirror set too low you can bend your knees to see your face! tongue out

Well we did do other things in the meantime but the missus wasn’t about to pay the final amount until he’d finished the job.

I’d have done it but would have bodged it in all honesty.

Hi-Viz jackets and tabbards that have "POLITE" in exactly the same colour scheme, lettering, design, font, sizing, etc. as the ones the police use, including the checkerboard pattern.

It's not only the intent to deceive that annoys me, but also the strong protestations from users and proponents that they are not intending to deceive. Pull the other one, it's got fluorescent bells on it.

I absolutely hate that, I'm quite happy to give riders room, but less inclined to do so when they wear those. Counterproductive imo, why wind people up when you want safe cooperation.

People who repost hoaxes and, when challenged, say "Better to share & find out it's a hoax than not share & find out it happened to someone"

Even better to do some basic research and not spread false information though, eh?
