Chicken satay stick and pots of sauce.
Yes, you can do an initial dip, but once the first section of compressed chicken meat is consumed you can't then d a second dip due to the protruding stick.
YES! What he said!Yes, you can do an initial dip, but once the first section of compressed chicken meat is consumed you can't then d a second dip due to the protruding stick.
Is is beyond the intelligence of the satay stick producers to make an edible stick?? Who wants to be left with that bit of (horribly sharp) balsa that will do nothing other than rip the bin bag or lie, claymore-like, in the carpet? An overcooked piece of chicken formed into a skewer would do th...
Scuse me, typing a patent application...
Is this not common sense when eating shishkebab like foods? The stick is merely a scaffold for grilling, not eating.

2 people have managed to put push bikes with panniers on in the work bike shed next to each other, so you can't fit a bike in the slot in between them. I had to park my bike at least 2 feet further away from the office.
Let's have a photo for the 'Bad Parking' thread, please...Not sure if I'm annoyed beyond reason or amused beyond reason with this one.

Muppets and global e-mails!
Yesterday HR sent out an e-mail to the whole organisation about a tax advisor visiting and people can contact HR to make an appointment with him.
So far we've had
- One guy replied to all asking for an appointment for his wife
- Someone else then replied to all to tell him not to reply to all and that he shouldn't include his wifes tax reference number on a public e-mail. He then recalled the e-mail a few minutes later but Outlook doesn't always do recalls properly.
- First guy replied to all to apologise for replying to all
- Received a global "Meeting Cancelled" e-mail, looks like someone had managed to put the whole day in their calendar with everyone invited, but not contacted, but then he deleted it and everyone got a notification
- Someone replied to all on the Meeting Cancelled e-mail to ask if there was a way to stop people spamming the whole organisation

I'd love to know how many out of office replies they got seeing as it's half term and the place is pretty quiet. At a site I worked at some years ago a guy in our department legitimately sent out a global e-mail asking if anyone had any of a certain specification fuel.
Some idiot replied globally to say he didn't

ooo this happens often in my bank, I don't find it annoying, I find it amusing. however I do think whomever replies to all should be instantly demoted/fired/bonus withdrawn for being too dense to realise.Muppets and global e-mails!

Oh, and on that subject, Amazon questions & answers. You can ask a question about a product and other Amazon users have the opportunity to answer it, in addition to the seller of course. It annoys me beyond reason when some of the answers are "I don't know" or "I don't own this product".
Well, thanks for your valuable answer.

Oh yes indeed. Along with people who write reviews or respond to questions who don't own that product but have something similarYou can ask a question about a product and other Amazon users have the opportunity to answer it, in addition to the seller of course. Apologies, is there a set of rules somewhere stating bona fide subject matter?
The thread title. I suspect the joke was that these annoyances were entirely legitimate and hence not "beyond reason".

I thought that the 'beyond reason' implied that I'm so annoyed I am without reason?
It's been an oft-debated matter on this thread. Some people think it's "a reasonable person wouldn't be annoyed" (or "I know this is unreasonable..."), others your interpretation, and yet others "I don't need a reason, and therefore you aren't allowed to make any comment on it or debate it, even if my reason is based on incorrect facts or a misunderstanding".
I've always maintained that the last one would make for a very short and boring thread. Plus, if the annoyance is based on a misunderstanding and that misunderstanding is corrected, then the annoyance may go away and the world made a slightly happier place as a result.

I believe that is down to the fact that some high ranking reviewers get free stuff to review. I often see a Top 100 reviewer start a review with "received free of charge and this is my honest review". You can ask a question about a product and other Amazon users have the opportunity to answer it, in addition to the seller of course. I think that due the complex way that Amazon ranks reviewers with most reviews, recents reviews, helpful votes, comments etc that people just comment as they think it will increase their rank and they might get some free stuff. Or they might just be morons and think a "I don't know" comment is somehow helpful.

"Have I been caught speeding ?" threads.
Completely pointless, which no one can definitively answer.
Agreed. And in a similar vein, the endless endless endless "I have a private plate and am selling my car, what should I do?" threads of which there seems to be a fresh one nearly every other day. There are numerous members here clued up on the process - why the fk doesn't someone put a comprehensive FAQ wiki page together with all the questions and answers which can be instantly linked to the next time the question gets asked instead of 5 pages of arguments and debate about quality of the OPs reg plate choice, font, letter spacing etc? Completely pointless, which no one can definitively answer.
