If that's your point then you are pretty petty-minded. Try acting like an adult and having a bit of tolerance to other people.
Looking at your garage you own a sports bike, which is probably pretty loud. Loads of people don't like loud bikes, so you should probably get rid of it?
..and here we have another example of someone looking into another poster's garage to try and "win" some argument points...
Just pointing out your completely hypocritical argument. You can have your pointless indulgences, but not tolerate anyone elses....
...and again not fully understanding the position of where and when I use my sportsbike.
Irrelevant.
No it isn't.
Yes it is. If you've ever used it someone will have been slightly annoyed at the noise, but they were probably capable of tolerating it and not wanting it banned.
As it's a track bike I suggest they don't go to race tracks then.
Obviously not heard about the whining people who live near racetracks and then complain about the noise?
You would get on well with them I think.

Ok, so now you're comparing people that complain about noise after moving to live near race tracks to people unhappy with cats crapping in their gardens which subsequently gets trod into the house...right. rolleyes

Enjoy the rest of your BHM.

You bought a house with a garden near to people who have cats, then you complain about cats crapping in it.
They bought a house near a racetrack then complain about the noise.

See the similarity?

No I didn't.

eta and I didn't have a local authority led planning process to stop people getting them. So completely different to a race track.

Being at work while several friends are posting things they're doing on the bank holiday on Facebook. Although to be fair I had 2 bank holidays last week instead so shouldn't complain.

And the bloody cat that is outside all day, then craps in the litter tray five minutes after she comes into the house.
What is wrong with that, you want a cat you clean its crap up. Not really fair to have you cat leaving its crap in other peoples gardens.
Well said.

Neighbours bd cats use my back garden as a litter tray. Considered posting it back to them through their letter box but the Mrs won't let me biggrin
+2 Cat owners in general, bunch of inconsiderate tossers.
I sympathise with you to a degree, a small degree, but as an animal lover, but not a pet owner, I feel it only fair to point out that a cat doesn’t suddenly think, “I know, I’ll go take a dump in the neighbour’s garden.”
Once he or she has left the house he or she lives in, and gets a message from bowels to brain, “Oh, oh, time for a dump”, as far as the animal is concerned, ANYWHERE is a litter tray, when you gotta go, you gotta go.
The Smith’s garden, the Jones’ garden, anywhere will do.
The Smiths and Jones don’t like it, the cat neither knows nor cares who doesn’t like it.
I agree..which why I stated that the owners are inconsiderate and not the cats.
How exactly is a cat owner supposed to stop the cat crapping in your garden?
By not having a cat.
An edit of my post convenient to your "argument"....hmmm
You would presumably prefer rescue cats to be put down rather than have one occasionally crap in your garden? I think that says more about you than the cat owner really.
No, you added a second sentence in an attempt to bring in an emotional strawman argument to back up your position. A pretty obvious attempt at that. I think that says more about you than my views really.

eta
..and completely missing the point that if people didn't have cats there wouldn't be any rescue cats to rehouse.
I'm feline really fed up with this cat discussion.

self service checkouts where you always have to ask the person for a a bag. very annoying, I really don't see the point, it's not made of gold. I don't get why they don't just have the bags hung up where you put your scanned items, I've used many other self service checkouts that have them there.

Certainly Sir your payment will be refunded in the next three to five working days.

Really? You aholes soon took it from my card. It's also odd that companies like Paypal can instantly transfer funds.

A well timed terrible pun that skillfully put an end to this.

For the record ( and if anyone gives a damn) I am absolutely fine with the discussion, as it is a perfect example of what the thread is for.

Do journalists have spell checkers?

I understand they will play on words for headlines, but shouldn't their spelling and grammar be exemplary?

US date format! How the hell does anyone think Month-Day-Year is a suitable format for dates on a computer system?

From watching something on the history of it it basically comes from a history of using month day year in print...where it makes sense as you're using the word for the month.

eg May 7th 2019.

Where it of course doesn't work is when you just use numbers and I'm I actually disagree with you here. This is not beyond reason. This is a totally reasonably annoyance. It's fking batst insane and bloody annoying.
