No, he has encountered a Timid Tommy lawbreaking cyclist who is in breach of the law and ought to be stopped and issued with a fine by a fine upstanding member of the local constabulary. Adults who habitually cycle on footways need to grow a set and take their proper place in the carriageway, just as the law requires of them.
Yes, get down there quickly with your clipboard and attitude and tell him how inconsiderate he is for being polite and harming no one. The idiots who allowed industrial units to be built here, South of Fields Road, alongside the A421

a "new" A421 was constructed to alleviate the old A421/ Woburn Road which still exists and runs parallel.
This new development will not have direct access to the new road. Instead all traffic to and from the development will go along Fields Road, over the new road to join the old road, then head East along Woburn Road to the A428 intersection.
Will traffic heading to the M1 J13 bother heading East for a couple of miles before doubling back on the A421.
Will it hell.
They'll head West and go along the old road, making traffic along there as bad as it was before the new road was even built

Adults cycling on pavements, alongside fairly quiet country roads, are annoying me at the moment. I keep encountering one as I'm on the way to the pub, fortunately in a fairly wide section of pavement. He slows down, gets to the edge of the pavement, waits until I've passed, then carries on. What he doesn't do is what he should do - which is cycle on the road.
You've encountered a polite cyclist who is being considerate of both motorists and pedestrians... and that annoys you beyond reason... o.0HRL said:
When I come into power the first thing I’ll do will be to outlaw people checking their phones whilst on the stairs.
Punishable by death.
Why do they do this? What is so important that can't wait the 30 seconds it takes to walk down the stairs? In fact the death penalty is too lenient. Punishable by death.

All these fking 'millennials' going on holiday/travelling every other week. They complain about not being able to afford to buy a house, especially in London, yet they are constantly fking off on holiday or living in so-called trendy areas in London such as Clapham. They just need to get their finger out, stop moaning, and start fking saving! I should know, I'm a 'millennial' and did exactly that!
I know the poorer sort, from decent backgrounds who live expensive but grotty (trendy) areas where they bemoan the evils of Capitalism behind their expensive rent, rendering them unable to buy a property, while spending the rest of their income on coke and Deliveroo.“Just put the kettle on”
We have someone at work who does this, fills the kettle, puts it on and 5 min later announce “I’ve just put the kettle on”
Do they collect and wash the mugs and actually do the drink as well?? Do they F**k!
The water in our office is on a meter and is odd in that if it is re-boiled it tases really ‘chemically’ so when you DO go to make a drink, you have to re-fill and re-boil the kettle!
So by filling the kettle and boiling it, they are wasting time, water and the energy required to boil the water.

People who don't charge their phones before heading out for the day, have a serial cable borrower at work that needs a charge before it's even midday.
Luckily they have an iphone whilst I have an android C charger so they don't pester myself, a cable costs a few pounds so I don't know why they don't buy one and leave it in their locker rather than ponce cables of others.

It's a knock-on effect from my girlfriend having an inexplicable rule about only one phone charger being in the bedroom that we have to share. It's easier to just charge it at work than stage a rebellion.

Anyone who likes a bagel, especially a salt beef one, would be advised to go to beigel bake in Brick Lane, London. The finest and most authentic salt beef bagel known to man
Beigel Bake suuuuuucks! :PIt's all about Beigel Shop. Eat there at least once a week.
(To the uninitiated, they're literally two doors apart. Locals tend to go to the yellow one, tourists to the white)
