But your head does not expand when the brain is filled with blood (because skull) so if blood flow from your brain to your winkle you are indeed more buoyant.

Although in my case it would not help the lifeboat men because the extra weight of the thing would drag me down to the bottom.

It's probably more that 0.5% can be shown to be descended through a continual male line.

The proportion of the population descended at all is likely to be nearer 50%.
