Never given blood, don't get any. (-18yo not included.)

That counts for organs too.

I'm not bothered about having lots of money, or expensive watches, or being a director, or constant one-upmanship in any conversation,, pretty unpopular views on here.

Trump's "sthole" comment wasn't entirely inaccurate. Neither was it racist.
I'm not sure that was really unpopular as opposed to sensational (ie: made a good headline). It's not like PHers have never used the same term to describe other parts of the UK.

There's nothing wrong with political correctness, most of the time it just means being polite.

On a motoring forum, it's pathetic that so many people can't spell licence.

The biggest threat to the world today is quite simply people believing st that isn't true. I include belief in god within that.

Margaret Thatcher is largely to blame to the "something for nothing" culture. She started it by flogging off council houses to the feckless for buttons, so they became instantly richer than responsible hard working people who didn't have kids they couldn't afford.

The NHS cannot survive as it is. It has to move from being demand led to being supply led. They need to decide what it will do, and then do it well. This means a lot of stuff it won't be able to do, and therefore some people will die without getting treatment.

Goal line technology in football is rubbish. Occasional awful decisions are a good thing.

There are two kinds of psychic, deluded idiots and fking crooks. Neither should be walking around free.

There is no war on the motorist. People who get banned under totting up following 4 speeding offences in 3 years are not unlucky, or victims, or hard done by. They are morons who deserve to be banned.
None or possibly one of those is an unpopular opinion.

Global warming has always happened, this planet is going through a cycle which it always has and always will. Accept it and get on with living.
Religion is for the weak minded.
Trump speaks his mind, I wish more would.

You haven't 'got' an illness - It's your body not functioning properly as it should.
Modern cars are 'over-tyred'.
Daytime running lights are unnecessary and dangerous.
ABS brakes make modern cars less safe due to 'gadget reliance' replacing safe driving.
'smart' phones are making humans less smart.

If you can't afford a house with a drive way for off road parking then you shouldn't own a car. Ever.

oh FFS - you're just saying that to be controversial. No one,and I mean no one holds that opinion at all. Or possibly ever has.
You'll be saying you like serious jockin next, Which as far as I can see is an excuse to say st, and play st, in a self obsessed bubble of something less than mediocrity.
Not sure if serious.

I’ve been to Haiti, it is the definition of a sthole. It’s also not as poor as it makes out, there’s a lot of money there but it’s all cash and in US$. The truth would stop the flow of aid.

Trump was being and is a racist though.

LBGT couples are the new media darlings. It seems it’s impossible to make an advert or TV programme without said couples being in it. Tired of trying to explain to 10 and 12 year old kids one with special needs why blokes and girls are snogging same sex on tv

Banning religion wouldn't make the smallest difference in how much we kill each other.

Every other species on the planet has as much, if not more right to exist than the human race.

People will do anything to win, they're not interested in being the best, rendering all competition st.

Dyslexia, adhd, fibromyalgia et al, exist and are st for people who have them.

Men experiance traditionally feminine emotions and anyone who finds this uncomfortable is a pussy and a moron.

Telling anyone to "pull yourself together" makes you the above.

Calling someone by a pronoun they prefer will not kill you.

People are generally awful and ruled by fear, regardless of race, age, sex, gender, sexual preference, intelligence, religion, profession, financial position etc

If people were more self reflective, the world would improve 10 fold.

Kindness is the most important trait in a human being.

People would much prefer to seem to be doing something, than actually doing it.

Believe in atoms and black holes etc. requires as much faith as believe in any other religion we can't proved.directly ourselves. Hey, mop up your tea, I believe in atoms but I acknowledge it is a leap of faith and choosing to believe is a choice we make when we really don't understand much of what we claim to belief in but the story seems more convincing.

There is absolutely no reason to feel personal loss when a famous person dies unless you know the person yourself.

All those picture of flowers and teddy bears etc outside the gates of the former home of the corpse are just complete nonsense. The deceased did not know you are care about you.
I'd have agreed with this until I heard about the death of Mike Hall during the Indian Pacific Wheel Race last year, he was a focal point for something I aspire to do and it really affected me out of the blue.

Whilst I couldn’t say I was her no 1 fan, Thatcher’s society speech was bang on, but unfortunately has been much misquoted. What she basically said was, there’s no such thing as society, unless individuals make a contribution to the pot and to looking out for others.

Social mobility is a problem. The acorn doesnt fall far from the tree. People hating on the poor never lived the life - were born into better circumstances and never had to earn it. Any genuine rags to riches people would never hate on the poor as they will understand just what it takes to break free.

Our children / grand children will spend the majority of their lives without secure long term employment. One day it will require a mortgage to secure a room in a multiple occupancy house the size of which would have once been enough to buy the whole house.

The increasing cost of living is the single biggest reason why the economy will only ever stagnate from here. It cannot be reversed and salaries cannot keep up. If salaries did increase to the extent necessary employers would scale up offshoring and automation. Its all down hill from here. It will never improve. Quality of life, disposable income, freedom, all on a downward trajectory.

Recycling is a dangerous thing. People get a warm fuzzy feeling because they have helped the planet and then continue consuming in the same way.

Packaging should be taxed
