Is London REALLY the capital of England? When British people are in the minority there How can that be?
I appreciate that we have huge numbers of foreign tourists at any given point in London, plus loads of foreign workers, students etc, but surely they don't make up over 50%. Where's your evidence that foreigners outnumber the British in London? paulguitar said:

I thought The Monkeys were better than The Beatles.
Who wasn't better than The Beatles?I do find it fascinating. I realize we all have differing views, but the song catalogue of the Beatles is just so transparently exceptional that I find it mildly amusing more than anything to hear from someone that they think they are 'overrated'.
Try performing 'Here, There and Everywhere', 'Blackbird', 'Yesterday' and 'For No One' and then have a little think about that band as being anything other than truly astonishing. I do these and others on a nightly basis, and those songs amaze me with the sheer brilliance of the writing even after hundreds of performances.
possibly not - and I haven't looked up any of the demographics either.
Having lived in London for 21 years............and worked here most of that time. I'd be amazed if there are more British people in London than non British people.
Obviously the further that radius moves outwards, even by a mile at a time, the more British would shift on the % increase

You sure you're not thinking about white rather than british? There's plenty of non-white british, and also a bunch of non-british whites.Having lived in London for 21 years............and worked here most of that time. I'd be amazed if there are more British people in London than non British people.
