The missus and her family are all from Bermondsey, took me to a traditional pie and mash shop near tower bridge road. Seriously don’t know what all the fuss is about. Didmy go down well with her and family when I said it was a bit bland ??
what the fk is that green water they pour all over it too?My wife and her family are from Peckham, I never tire of reminding her that I rescued her from imminent third world-dom, and brought her to civilisation.
I digress, she, and all her family are fans of pie, mash, and liquor, liquor apparently being the water that eels were stewed in, with parsley added, eeeww!
Personally, I can eat the pies, and the mash is okay, but just looking at that liquor gives me the dry heaves.

I was discussing changing my fun car with my 16yo daughter. I have never had a Lamborghini. I suggested that I get one of Sant' Agata's finest. Her opinion (no doubt unpopular in these part) was that "anyone who buys a Lamborghini is overcompensating for something".

On the one hand she sounds very wise for a 16yr old female in today's climate. On the other hand ................. take her for a test run in one and she may quickly change her way of thinking. Those moments of clarity are priceless. AstonZagato said:

Alfie Evans parents are little more than scum and they have no thought for anyone other than themselves. They don't give a st for other parents at Alder Hey. They have whipped up mob mentality and they simply have no thought or compassion for other parents.
absolutely. This all comes because a certain type of people are just allergic to authority in any form. They'd literally have been sat down by a consultant with decades of medical experience to be told their kid's condition and what it means and rather than listen, all they'd be thinking would be "you fink you're better van me u i'll fukkin show u". It's never about the kid, it's about bitterness of feeling about "the man" in every form that seems to take in some peoples' minds. techiedave said:

You can get your own back. When one of them rocks up on Big Brother, or that celebrity jungle bloody nonsense, vote them off early doors. techiedave said:

TD, I don't think this opinion belongs on this thread.techiedave said:

Can we include the Italian government & the Pope too? Granting him citizenship was just utterly ridiculous and didn't help the situation. Meanwhile the Pope is just a tt. Europa1 said:

TD, I don't think this opinion belongs on this thread. Now as a comparison, in my professional life, I'm dealing with a child as sick as Alfie.
The parents are akin to Alfie's. Heavy media involvement.
Child in intensive care, no chance of improvement, or going to a step down bed. Everything they want/need is "right now" time is of the essence.
except for next week. when they're sodding off on holiday for 2 weeks and leaving the child alone in hospital.
I jest not when I say, this child is living day to day.
ask yourself, would you ?
I'm having to keep the detail scant for obvious reasons.

Marc Marquez is a little st.
That's one of the things I like about him. MotoGP would be boring without his ongoing feud with Rossi/Vinales/insert riders name here. MotoGP needs riders like him, just as it needed Biaggi or Simmocelli or even Rossi who has initiated quite a few long running battles in his career.bristolracer said:
