Genuinely I believe Alfie Evans should be allowed to die with dignity without the regular resuscitation from his father and definitely without all the media fuss
You only had to read the previous page to know this is not an unpopular opinion.
Ah but opinions change and ebb/flow quite quickly, just because the previous page agreed, doesnt mean they still agree ... this could be an unpopular opinion in itself

If I had meant that I would have said it.

But to enlarge on what I said, the presidency that would probably have been had Clinton won the election.

well thats just a fking retarded thing to say. sorry, but it is. comparing what something is, to something completely imaginary is daft.

at least compare to what happened before, the last president or the last 2. then it means something,.

Saying "I don't think what is actually happening in the US under Trump is as bad as was expected, and actually seems quite favourable to what happened under Obama due to the inability of Obama to get policies through." would be far more sensible an argument.

This isn't a thread for arguments, it's a thread for unpopular opinions. It's my opinion that Trump has made a better president that Clinton would have. I hope you can live with that but won't worry too much if you can't smile

The probable Clinton presidency would have been uneventful. She was being set up to carry on Obama's policies and do what the party wanted. That would be a dream compared to the absolute shambles of the Trump presidency.

The bad one was completely imaginary, the work of the creative "geniuses" at Fox News.

You really need to work on saying what you mean.

many things that are bad result in good things because of how the bad effects change the course of events and change priorities and so on. The Manchester bomb in the 90s meant that a big area of the city was forced into regeneration. That doesn't mean bombs are good. Saying Trump is a good is a bit like saying bombing things is good.

I just read that Lance Armstrong settled a court case with the US government over when he doped riding for US Postal.

I still really like Lance. I think he's still my cycling hero. I don't care he took drugs, they all did / do.

I don't care for cycling personally, but I expect you are right about the last part.

I'd quite to see a 'Special' sports event! Cyclists, athletes etc all completely bonged off their tits, let's see what the human body can be pushed into doing!

Probably wouldn't be unreasonable to expect the winner to survive the event.

I think a new law should be passed making anyone commiting a crime an outlaw without any legal protection for up to an hour after it was committed. Meaning anyone can commit a crime against you without fear of repercussions.

Along the lines of the purge but instead of decent people being in fear of their safety it's those who make it their mission in life to make others lives miserable. It would be interesting to see the effect on low level crime (the type that bothers most people as it's so prolific) if all of a sudden the the perpetrators weren't untouchable.

Agreed. Let's have the Olympics, the Paralympics, and the Smacked-Off-Their-Tits-lympics.

Usain Bolt may well be able to run the 100m in 9.5 seconds, but I'd rather watch someone do it in 5, without shoes on hehe

lol, good point.
I won't worry too much. Though I do think if you are going to compare then you need to think this through logically.

The reason Trump won was because of Hillary. You should be thanking her. She could not have won. I know this because she lost against Trump, which was ridiculous and crap.
So if we remove Hillary from the equation, it would have been Trump vs Sanders.

I see merit in that comparison. Not much, but some, certainly more than Trump Vs Hillary.

Back to your first post on this, which said you don't think Trump has done too badly. Maybe not too unpopular an opinion. Once you get past media overreaction and hyperbole, his inability to get crap policies through (as Obama couldn't also) does leave more middle of the road ones that could be seen as okay.

You seem to have confused me with somebody who actually cares about US politics. I don't even care about UK politics let alone those in the US, despite my living in England and planning to continue doing so.

That's.

I think we all knew what was meant.
