Most adverts are trying to get you to buy something that you dont need. Betting and cigarette ads are exactly the same and I have no more issue with them than I do with any other advert.

Most adverts do have the potential to bankrupt you as they are trying to get you to buy stuff, and if you cant afford that stuff then guess what happens.

People need to take responsibility for their own actions, rather than just blaming someone else. Most people are able to do this, so why should we continue to ban everything. Its like we are being treated like children.

It's so true.

Watching BBC news one morning they were doing a piece on how big tech companies should be doing more to stop kids getting addicted to tablets and phones.

One quoted Steve Jobs as saying he didn't let his kids use iPads, but he was did nothing to stop other people's kids. FFS unless your kid has the means to buy their own iPad, router and internet service then you are entirety to blame for their use. It's like blaming Samsung for your kids TV habits!!!
