Try living as an ethnic minority in another country for a while, until someone calls you a ‘****ing dirty Brit c***’ and spits in your face for no reason other than your appearance. Then repost.
But in that situation it's the ‘****ing dirty c***’ and the spit that's the issue, not the word 'Brit'.bristolbaron said:

I have had similar twice in my working life. Once as an 18yr old working away from home for the first time. Not nice.TwigtheWonderkid said:

I've had that working as a Londoner in Northern Ireland. No one called me that, but I only spoke when I had no alternative, as it was virtually impossible to mask my Cockney accent.

I'm sure this is short-sighted of me but I cannot listen to somebody with a rising inflection. When I hear somebody who uses it giving an opinion on the radio, even if they are a Professor of Everything expert I just immediately switch off.
It's maybe forgivable in someone 20 or under but if you are 40 years old then you did not grow up talking like that, it's pure affectation. You have heard other people doing it and think it will make you sound interesting. I can't be bothered to listen to the thoughts of somebody that shallow, however clever they might be.

How do you know if someone is a Vegan?
Because they tell you, repeatedly.

Well, humans are evolved omnivores and meat contains a large amount of necessary proteins, fats, nutrients and biotin and pantothenic acids.
"Necessary"? I must have been dead for the last 35 years then!

I've thought they should resurrect the Maxi name. Maybe sell it in Jewish Racing Gold (metallic biege) like my old one was.
That post hasn’t upset me one iota, in fact I think that it’s quite humorous, but it’s dollars to doughnuts, that someone will read this and label both of us as holocaust deniers. The Moose said:
