Whilst on the Facebook theme I honestly, truly and genuinely cannot for the life of me see why folk post up their deepest darkest secrets, emotions and pouting pics. It just smacks of desperation and attention seeking.
I think it just appeals to a certain type imo.

I suppose it takes time to get into something. I guess its a bit like when you mistakenly turn on eastenders or coronation street, you realise just how rubbish it is.
Dear Eastenders, Shouting your lines is not acting.

I sacked it off after the only noteworthy thing that showed up was someone vaguely connected to the wifes family trying to flog three new fivers for more than they were worth. He heard that they were worth a lot of money and got mardy when someone told him they were worth a fiver each. I think it just appeals to a certain type imo.
At that point i got rid of it for good and haven't regretted that decision once.

Thats not unpopular at all - vile humans indeed It isn't even remotely harsh. The coincidences are off the scale absolutely off the scale with this one
Their kid was murdered not by them but they were totally inadequate
Actually sorry its harsh I snapped at you Fred but I will explain another day why it isn't harsh on the parents.
Best wishes to you fella

I looked at Facebook years ago, failed to see the point, so didn't pursue it, and now view its addicts (almost everybody it seems) with disdain.

You view most of the population with disdain?! I dont like facebook so I just ignore it, much better than having some weird snooty attitude to others.I looked at Facebook years ago, failed to see the point, so didn't pursue it, and now view its addicts (almost everybody it seems) with disdain.

Absolutely no need, thanks; I am extremely content with my lot in life, never feeling the need for the approval of "friends" I will never meet.
