well, they do say opposites attract, but i am not convinced that is always true..
Hold on a second - that sounds ALMOST like a bit of real science. No wonder you are skeptical.

Your comment is accurate except I would omit one of the words you have used.
Just the one... rofl

I don't have a safe word, i have a safe phrase.

"Don't stop now, I'm nearly there"

I'm hardcore.

I think we're going around in circles on this one now . Is that appropriate on a flat earth debate?

I don't think Eric was being rude at all.

It is not in his nature and he is a valuable contributor who can always be relied upon to deliver a response based upon proven facts.

My friend has also moved onto 9-11 conspiracy theories this week. The earth being flat is playing second fiddle to how steel cannot melt with Avgas( again) and a picture of a cesna hitting a house with minimal damage, this proving that 2 jumbos did not strike the towers and bring them down. Job jobbed

I've recently met someone who convinced that 'the council' is installing 5G transmitters in lamp posts, and this is causing madness, birth defects and all sorts of mayhem. Their leader, 'has the truth', etc. Oddly, accessing the internet via a mobile phone or tablet is fine.

Stupidity is the new religion.

YouTube is an endlessly entertaining source of this kind of stupidity. In addition to the recent nonsense about 5G, over the past few months I've seen:

Airliners don't use jet fuel.

Aircraft are not as big as "they" say, nor do they fly as fast or as high as people think.

There's a global programme of spraying chemicals over the population using airliners (so-called chemtrails), though they can't decide why. Some think it's for weather modification, others think its a depopulation agenda, and still others think its for mind control!

There's an installation called HAARP in Alaska, which some say is controlling the weather.

And now, it appears that the current hurricane hitting the US is man-made!

The worrying thing is how many people seem to believe literally everything they see on YouTube. This combination of social media providing a platform for idiots, coupled with a poorly educated (and gullible) audience could well mark the point at which human evolution starts to go into reverse. The stupidity is just breathtaking, and the thought that some of these morons could end up in positions of authority is just too scary to contemplate.

The photo of a light aircraft crash into a residential home as proof that it didn't destroy the house- so therefore the 2 jumbos couldn't bring down the twin towers is quite a leap of faith for anyone to make. It appears many are happy to accept it as all the proof they need.
At least it made a change from the fish eye lens memes and arctic wall...

I thought i had heard most theories and seen most stuff put forward as evidence of 9/11 shenanigans, but i have never seen that one!

It's pretty bloody weak..

The real picture was apparently a light aircraft pilot who committed suicide crashing into his ex wife's home as a divorce grudge but only managed to kill himself and partially damage the patio and front door.
There will be something else new posted tomorrow :-)
Last week's also featured the water tank where NASA film all the space walks and weightless sequences for the ISS and moon propaganda.

I thought they spent all their time denying the human contribution to the climate...?
