If your "friend" is someone with whom you are acquainted with on an internet or social media forum, then he/she isn't a "friend".

Next time you meet him/her down the pub why don't you ask them?

I don't think they are a friend.
It's someone from way back who we now share social media friendship. He's actually a decent guy, not daft and runs his own business. This was a more recent change by the look of it probably because of social.media and how easy it is for them to read/share flat earth theories. I've no reason to block or unfriend it's harmless. Easily ignored but puzzlingly crazy when you do read some of it. :-)

Sad end for one of them. No doubt this will find it's way to becoming some sort of conspiracy story about trying stop people seeing if it's flat or not!

Just watched the previous link from yesterday which is hilarious and I think you can see mad Mike at some points. He was interviewed in other similar vids.

Apparently Mad Mike is now dead. Killed by his steam powered rocket yesterday. It’s all a conspiracy I hear them scream!

Welcome to his wake, we were discussing this news already :-)
Makes you think though that they all must have thought Felix Baumgartner faked all his space jump. He fell for 7 mins odd, mad Mike would have got nowhere near as far up into the "firmament"

Which piece of equipment can I use to see 5000 miles away? I'll disprove this nonsense this weekend.
Your eyeball.

Look up in the sky. That great shiny ball that is blinding you during the day is a great deal more than 5000 miles away. Likewise, the the moon you can see at night is also more than 5000 miles away. Those are the easy ones. All the other pinpricks of light in the night sky are also also likely way more than 5000 miles away, excepting the few airplanes and satellites you might be able to see.
"You sound like one of those involved in the NASA conspiracy and are probably paid by them..."
For reasons yet to be explained, obviously!

The distances of the sun and moon plus the ice walls are the physical things they try to explain away, but the biggest craziest thing for me is why? NASA budget is touted as one of the reasons for the deception, but them there Jews or the illuminiati are also to blame, apparently.
I rarely look at the stuff posted now by them, it was a giggle at first but it's quite sad in many ways.
