What would they do if everyone on the planet agreed with their theory, therefore making their 'quest' defunct?
Perhaps like a colleague who whistled a different tune every day as he walked around the office. Someone once asked, " Jim, what'll you do when you get to the end of your repertoire of songs?"
He said, "I shall start again from the beginning,......... but in a different key."

So they'll probably take up another cause that "They" are lying about to the whole world.

here's a video from a youtuber that's gaining some steam. he goes to various conventions/meets and interviews people.

in this video he's speaking to flat earthers.

Dunno if this is the place to say it, but that channel is amazing. It's like Louis Theroux meets Ali G back in 90s/2000s again.

Is the content actually new? The clothing etc looks pretty dated...?
yes its 'new' its just the video style is made to make it look like something frrom 15 years ago, or something you'd see on a local american news channel. if you like this you will like 'joe goes'. but he hasn't made videos in afew years now.
That was both incredible and brilliant! biggrin
It’s nasa jesuits google and the Jews making it up. hehe

I thought it was all people trolling but I think some of these guys believe what they’re saying.
I still love their line "The Flat Easth Society has members all around the globe"! rofl

If it goes over the edge, how does that explain the fact it's daylight in the other side of the world? If the sun was just circling over a flat disc, shouldn't it always be visible and just vary in size over 24 hours?
For the same reason that ships sailing away from you disappear. It's not because they are behind the curve of the earth, it's down to 'perspective'.

Oh, and the light from the sun and the moon is directional - like they are in lampshades.

Even though the greatest flat earth minds say that the sun and moon are much closer than NASA tells us, they can't seem to explain why they always appear to be the same size.
Although if the sun was a lamp we wouldn't witness it go over the horizon, and night would appear as an angle moving across the key. This is one of the biggest problems flat earth proponents face - they cannot make anything close to a working model, or provide any equations or mathematical theories to support its existence.

I didn’t watch it all but what’s the connection with Jesuits? The priests and Jews and google etc are all part of a conspiracy to make people think the earth is round? To what end?

Often with a conspiracy finding out why and how they’re doing it is even more interesting than the nature of the conspiracy itself.

I love these Louis Theroux type shows where interviewers get to talk openly with conspiracy theorists and people living on the fringes of society, it’s fascinating.

I stayed loads in a hotel with my work colleagues which was attached to a convention Center in the USA we used to meet all kinds of interesting people in the bar. I met ufo cult members once who were on trip to the ufo convention. They were great but they all believed they were going to get picked up by spaceship and taken to another planet by their forefathers some time soon.

I think it was this lot

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raëlism

It was all space ships and sex and love etc mixed with all religions etc they all seemed to be really into it and TBH it looked like a nice community. I was a bit drunk when I met them though.

You don't need to tell me! They can't explain how the sun rises and sets, but come out with the standard things like: 'water finds its own level'; 'spinning ball at 1,000mph' *; 'gravity doesn't exist. things fall because of buoyancy'.

For a bit of levity, here's a clip of one particularly disturbed Flerfer (featured on SciManDan a few times) being schooled by his partner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaETDJd5oJ4

'* these people (presumably) travel in cars and aircraft etc, but don't seem to feel the effects of constant motion in these!

Sad end for one of them. No doubt this will find it's way to becoming some sort of conspiracy story about trying stop people seeing if it's flat or not!

These Jews must be worn out, what with spending all their free time hiding the true shape of the earth, controlling the media, starting wars and stopping Corbyn from getting elected. I do hope they get to take the occasional day off.

Just ask a flat earther to produce a map of the planet that is accurate, one you can use to accurately navigate around it. They can't.

A sad end. For less than the cost of his rocket (£14k) he could have had a flight in a MiG-29, going above 70,000ft.
The Russian website says that at this height, the earth’s curvature is visible.........
