I have 4 tickets to the Brit Awards and am going with my husband and our daughter and her friend. I have also won 2 tickets which I cannot use. I entered because it was in front of me on my computer and I thought....I never win anything so I'll have a go....and I won!

I can't use the prize tickets as there are only 2 and because our daughter and her friend are only 16 they have to sit with us. The prize tickets are sooooooo much better than the ones I bought and they also include passes to the after party.

My question is this.......do I try to sell the prize tickets? Is it worth the hassle? They are worth about £600 each but easy come easy go.....?

Has anyone done that before? If I did sell them, how do I know that the buyer would be able to get in if they are in my name? Does anyone know anything about that sort of thing?

It really depends if they will check the name, are the names actually on the tickets themselves?

I don't know as I have to collect them at the venue. I suspect they will have my name on them so not holding out much hope. Shame, what a waste!

I would call up the box office and ask. You don’t have to give your name. Just say you have a couple of tickets and you may need to offer them to a friend as you can’t make it. See what they say in regards to the procedure.

Use the prize tickets yourself.

Find two 18 year olds (cousins? Daughter's friends siblings? ) to sit with them and then direct them to a 24 hour McDonalds until you can drag yourself away from the after party...
