Parking at Birmingham airport

This is where the Esso station is, its technically past the main airport entrance at the roundabout just before but I usually just go up to the junction with the M42 (NEC and Motorcycle Museum turn off) and do a 180 on the A45 (assuming you're coming from Birmingham of course)

Jesus H Christ. Why would you park at a petrol station, or at the motor museum to pick someone up from the airport, when, as has been pointed out to you numerous times, there is now a free parking place within a 3 minute walk of the airport arrivals terminal??
