I’ve got three pair of Piloti shoes. The older ones are the Sebring design.
The new ones are suede boots. Very nice but very expensive.
I also bought a nice pair of more casual style suede Millie Miglia shoes in Padova last October.
I have size 10 feet an in my classic Alfa Spider, the pedal box is tiny. These minimise the issue.

Merrell barefoot shoes. I have worn them as driving shoes for years, super flexible with 4mm (at the thickest part) soles that allow you to wrap your toes around the edges of pedals and a nice rounded heel to roll your foot around on.
Great for proper driving involving left foot braking and heel and toe in a small car with close pedals....
If I only had two pedals I could wear walking boots or steelies

There is NO reason not to. Unless you`re a weirdo that thinks anything you don`t do is strange.
True and that equally applies to the weirdos who think it's strange to use shoes designed for a purpose, including driving shoes for...driving.Sure you can use Converses, but at least on track, a cheap pair of Puma Cats are infinitely better. Unsurprisingly.
The level of intolerance of PH is only matched by the level of bitterness.
I always defer to Ayrton Senna in this matter:

Apparently the best type of driving shoe is the Pope's slippers.
Anything with a thin sole will do the job I reckon.

I always wear driving shoes whenever I go out in the Noble - basically because the pedal box is narrow, and I want to avoid any chance of hitting the brake and accelerator at the same time - particularly in an emergency.
Not a lot of help to the OP, as I can't find anywhere that still supplies them, but mine are Lico brand which I bought from Grand Prix Racewear a few years back. They have minimal branding (just the name on the velcro strap at the top), the rest is just plain black suede, so with jeans/trousers over them, they just look like a plain narrow shoe.
This is an issue for that particular car, as when first taking it on a test drive, the guy told me that I would hit both brake and accelerator at some point, and coming up to the first roundabout despite the warning, he was proved correct.
For other cars, it's not an issue so I just wear whatever shoes/trainers I have on.

My feet must be getting bigger, I used to drive my Caterham in normal shoes but now need "driving shoes" (Sparco in my case) or cannot hit just one pedal. Only way with trainers is to use the side of my foot on throttle

Love that video, turning up in a shirt and loafers to run an NSX to the limit on TV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUVkVB3SUf4

It's definitely got worse over the last few years. Either the mods have stopped caring or the general level of anger in society has increased and everyone thinks it's ok to take it out on strangers on the internet...

I haven't seen any 'bitterness' exhibited on this thread, only light-hearted mocking. I think someone's taking things a little too seriously...
It's not read to me as mocking on a few posts, rather more as incredulous / contemptuous from a couple of posters. The smilies ARE there for a reason...

Them's the one's I bought to drive the 7 inFit down the tunnel nicely but a bit tight, width wise on my old plates of meat. Have worn them for a whole day before but a relief to get them off.

Me too. Only thing I can wear and change gear and brake without hitting the wrong pedal (size 12s). Also look good outside the car and cheap
They don’t look good, neither inside, nor outside the car, but you’re right about them looking cheap. :rolleyes :
(Someone said use smilies to avoid appearing sarcastic).
